Large room, located conveniently close to the city center, still only 10min from the airport. The roofdeck bar (outdoor, 360° view) is awsome; We enjoyed the sunset over Moorea with good drinks and tasty bar food. We loved the hotel for our layover in Papeete

We arrived in Papeete at ~2:30 in the morning on a flight from New Zealand. There was staff ready to check us in and get to our room. AC was on and the room cool (very welcome since it was still quite humid at that hour). Since we checked in so late, they allowed us a slightly later check out without our charging us. The location is relatively close to the Ferry terminal and a bank ATM.

Royal Tahitien is located on Tahiti’s eastern coast, along the lovely lagoon which faces the Island of Moorea.

Nice setting in the middle of the garden. The pool was great - free pool towel available. Traditional feel. Good restaurant. The wifi didn’t work for us.
