Cebu City is a very dynamic city with people living from different parts of the Philippines and even foreigners from neighboring countries such as Korea (i can see they’re increasing their number in Cebu City). Cebu City has its own unique cultural diversity…vibrant, full of colors and the services are quite exceptional in such a way that people gets a fair share of treatment without prejudice (which I experienced when i was in Luzon). So many tourists spots to enjoy from as it continues to boom… it’s like Shanghai of China or Dubai of UAE. So the visit is must 😃

It is a vibrant city with a lot of things to do, you can go around nearby to Temple of Leah, Sirao Gardens, 10000 roses, Simala , Oslob, Moalboal etc. You can also take a ferry and go to Bohol or Siquijor. Just in the city itself there are so many places to visit. The only thing is the rundown worn out casino and waterfront. There are places for good massages, no hanky panky. It has some nice clubs and bars too.

My wife is from Cebu so we always visit her very large family every other year we go there. We always try all the local restaurants and foods . The
people are very friendly towards us and we often visit their homes for `get togethers` .
I choose not to drive in Cebu as the roads are chaos compared to ours but there are lots of taxis and jeepneys and tricycles at very cheap rates.

A great place to visit.
A great place to visit. Food, taxi and shopping are very cheap. Many nice beaches. The best beaches are a couple hours drive from Cebu city, but worth it. i booked my hotel for 2wks, but i traveled to South Bohol for 3 nights on Panglao island. which is a very nice place. Only a 2hr boat trip from Cebu city. Food shopping, i like Pure Gold. Clothes and shoes, there is a big store called: Unitop. Very cheap. Be careful of the evening traffic. And the taxi drivers like to stare/glare at foreigners(in the rear view mirror)funny.

Great place much to see! Love the barbecue and banana-que.
Great place much to see! Love the barbecue and banana-que. Some museums and history. The traffic is crazy though the buses 🚌 are an improvement.
The major festival, Sinulog is truly amazing, creative but if you aren't local, book 3-5 months in advance!
Very fresh seafood and fish to enjoy for reasonable prices!

Nice, cozy hostel located in the heart of Cebu city, at a quiet side alley. Rooms are small, but there is all you need. Breakfast is also included at the price. Ladys at the desk are helpful and friendly, they gave me many useful tips. Overall, great place to stay with an affordable price!
Exceptional service, right next to Ayala. Excellent buffet breakfast. Nice clean room with comfortable bedding and good air conditioning. After staying at many other hotels in the area, it’s the only place we’ll stay in Cebu City now.
