The resort is beautiful. The poolside room was small but clean. The staff were kind and helpful. While the resort is not near the beach, it was easy to get tuktuks for 150 PHP. We were paying tourist prices for transportation but understand that we're guests and were happy to support the local drivers.

Located in Moalboal and with Panagsama Beach reachable within 300 metres, Dreamstay Hostel provides a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and barbecue facilities.

This hostel is called Indino Guest House 2 meanwhile. Very well located, close to all the bars/restaurants and the beach of course, but quiet and runned by wonderful people. You can also organize tours or rent a scooter with them. Talking about a Hostel(!) my room was clean, quiet, had warm water supply, Television (I did not use) and a comphy bed. 1 point less because the toilet seat was not adjusted as it should be normally. But in general a very good place for a very affordable budget!!

The staff were so helpful and very friendly, helped with arranging taxis, tuk tuks and excursions. Nice breakfast and although it was too far to walk to the town they provided a free shuttle bus until 5pm or arranged a tuk tuk which was super easy and only took around 10/15mins.

As it says in the name, a secret paradise. It’s located outside of the main road but only a 5/10 minute walk away. It’s truly a hidden oasis, with the pool surrounded by trees, plenty of shelter and the aesthetic is gorgeous. The rooms were spacious and the shower was big, with hot water always available. The minibar had a good selection of drinks and snacks, and the a/c was perfect. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and made us feel very welcome. We ate at their restaurant most nights and the food was lovely, with good cocktails (and reasonably priced too). The pool was lovely, not too hot or cold, and they also had a pool table and darts board, so a great place to stay and relax.

    Moalboal is a fantastic place to stay if you’re looking to escape the city and enjoy a more laid-back, beachy, and nature-filled atmosphere. I had planned two main activities—canyoneering and the sardine run—but only ended up doing the canyoneering. It was an amazing experience, and next time, I’d challenge myself to jump without hesitation! I skipped the sardine run this time, as I promised my husband I’d wait until he could join me. Beyond the adventures, I found plenty to do within walking distance. There are a couple of tattoo shops nearby, and I ended up going to Araw Tattoo Studio—twice! I also made it a point to eat somewhere different every morning and night, which was easy since everything was so close. Next time, I’d love to rent a scooter and explore more of the local spots, but for this trip, I fully embraced a relaxed pace and enjoyed everything nearby. Moalboal is a great mix of adventure and chill vibes, and I can’t wait to go back!

    Moalboal was the highlight of our 4 week Philippines trip.

    Moalboal was the highlight of our 4 week Philippines trip. After going to Coron, El Nido and Boracay, we were so glad that we left the best to last. The turtles and sardines were amazing and didn't disappoint. The restaurants were nice and there were a lot of selection. We had 6 days here and it was definitely worth the drive from Cebu.

    The sardine run and sea turtles were by far the best attraction in Moalboal. It's amazing that they are so close to shore. The vibe feels more touristy with lots of different shops and lots of tourists. Panagsama beach is really not a place for sunbathing or wading since it is rocky. It's better to go to white beach which is not too far away if you are looking for soft sand. But if you are going to go snorkeling, or scuba diving, this is definitely the place for you.

    We stayed out of the town - the town is very touristic vibes, so great bars/restaurants/massage/tours. Moalboal itself (out of the township) is vibrant with bussling markets, amazing waterfalls, caves an coastal regions. There is a heap of things to do and explore in the area. We dont ride motorcycles but took tricycles and taxis which are easy to organise and get you to wherevere you nee to og

    If you are looking for scuba diving, this place is wonderful...

    If you are looking for scuba diving, this place is wonderful. There are few other reasons to be here. (Though there are some nice waterfalls and hiking.) The endless loud motorcycles in town are definitely not for the faint hearted!

    This is a beautiful area with beaches, mountains, waterfalls, canyons, and more to explore. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and other amenities available. If you're not driving, the four-hour bus ride from Cebu City is well worth it. I will definitely be back!

    For us was a great location, we were just outside the centre and it was a lot quieter and places to eat around here were cheaper then Moalboal centre. You will need a bike to get around, but easy to organise. We managed to jump off the bus from cebu outside the macdonalds and it was a 4 min walk to the hotel. Perfect. The staff were really welcoming and booked a tour for us with ease. Was able to sort transport back to the airport too easily. They were so helpful everything possible.

    Amazing hotel, literally 30 seconds from the beach where you can snorkel with turtles and see thousands of sardines. The hotel itself is very well kept and the room was exactly what we needed at an affordable price. we even extended another night here as we loved Moalboal so much! the staff were also really friendly. also only a five minute walk to the main strip of restaurants and bars.

    Apartment is literraly in the center of all things happening in Moalboal. There are bars, restorants, stores nearby. Sardines run is 5minutes by foot from here to the beach. When we checked out, we were able to leave our laguagge in the yard because we had an afternoon ride to Cebu. The host was super polite and I would recommend this place!

    The property is right next to the beach and only a 10 minute walk to Moalboal beach where the sardine run is. Booking tours through the hotel was great, the lady was very informative. The hotel provides a shuttle from Cebu airport for a fair price.
