We arrived to this hotel without a booking. However, the price at reception was double the price than double booking via booking.com so we booked on booking.com on the spot. Rooms were lovely. We were on the ground floor so we had to keep curtains pulled as you could see directly in but not a problem for us. We didn’t have time for the pool but it seemed lovely. Great location. Close to restaurants and beach but not in the madness.

The pool is amazing with 3m depth. The rooms are spacious and really comfortable with everything you need. Super friendly and helpful staff. Generally the place is really beautiful. The staff can order you a tuk tuk to go places and also a Taxi to the airport if you need it. Everything is very well catered for and it also has some light food from the kitchen if you wish so. Nicely equipped bathroom/wash basin with all hygiene products you may need. Easy to reach from everywhere in Panglao and surroundings. Generally a super relaxing atmosphere.

    I simply love the people and the laid back lifestyle of Panglao, though the night life is so vibrant and alive. Plenty of nice restaurants to choose from. The beach front of Bohol Beach Club is jaw-dropping. The Nest (Sunset) Bar at North Zen is a must-go-to place to chill while appreciating a very captivating sunset. The 500-meter, no-nail bamboo path leasing to the Nest Bar is an attraction itself.

    The area as a hole has some lovely beaches,nice diving and good trips…Chocolate hills,waterfalls and island hopping,locals are very friendly……..what is a down side is at night Alona main bar/restaurant area has lots of bad karaoke bars and prostitution….

    It is impossible to walk around the streets. There are no sidewalks. The traffic is heavy. They light fires to burn garbage and it smells very unpleasant and stuffy. We did not dare to eat outside the hotel. Hygiene is very bad. The people are very kind.

    Panglao is easy to get to with the newish airport.

    Panglao is easy to get to with the newish airport. It is really easy to access any of the attractions on Bohol by car and just as easily by tuktuk and has amazing white sand beaches. There are trips to book for diving and snorkelling to see turtles, dolphins and sardines (more of a thrill than you might think) On Bohol-The Chocolate hills were quite stunning although too early in the season to look very chocolatey. The Tarsier sanctuary was wonderful even in the rain, not so the python and butterfly ‘sanctuary’, this needs updating and fixing especially for the two poor sad crocodiles.

    Panglao is much busier now than before the pandemic- almost too busy. It's good to see that businesses are booming again and that people are coming back to Bohol, but sometimes it seems too busy. We enjoyed the variety of cafes and restaurants now- much better than before. Hotel prices, as everywhere in the Philippines, are too expensive for what you get. No wonder visitors opt for places like Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia where hotel prices are much more reasonable. For what you pay for a 3 star hotel in the Philippines you could stay in a 5 star hotel in Vietnam for example. The advantage of Panglao is that the new airport is so close to all the resorts, which makes life much easier. Transport is still problematic in Bohol as there are no taxis as such in Panglao, just private cars with drivers and tuktuks. The latter are great and provide a good service for getting around. We like the restaurants around Esther Lim Drive where we were staying, in particular Garlic 'n Lemon, the Overgrown Cafe, Toto e Peppino, and Mr. & Mrs. Thai.

    The hotel is set i a beautiful location but the best rooms are with a plunge pool and by the sea front. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, they couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome. We requested to move rooms to the sea front which they happily & efficiently did. The food was lovely but a limited menu, although this was due to the very few guests as the weather wasn't great. (i.e many had cancelled). I highly recommend this hotel and the island over Cebu, we wish we had gone to Bohol rather than Cebu.

    The accommodation is beautiful and brand new. Beds very comfortable and very good bathroom with warm shower. They have a stunning pool, and an outside kitchen for self catering which is super handy. It’s also conveniently located close to a market for food shopping, scooter hire etc. The hosts are amazing, so friendly, accommodating and warm. They collected us from the airport and were very generous. Cannot recommend this place enough if you are wanting to stay in Panglao, Bohol

    A fantastic place to stay at Bohol. There are only three cabins so it's very quiet and peaceful. As a solo traveller, it was great to have my own cabin with a comfortable bed and an electric fan to keep me cool at night. There is a handy kitchen to prepare food and the free coffee and water was an added bonus. I rented a scooter from the hostel owner to explore the island which was great.
