Everything! The staff are amazing-very attentive to ensuring a comfortable, serene, and enjoyable stay. We were lucky enough to spend 5 nights at Hotel Paco de Vitorino. The grounds are beautiful and include a large pool. The bed was 10 out of 10 for comfort. . It felt like we were on a retreat, yet close enough to drive to Ponte de Lima, Ponte de Barca, Guimaraes, Braga & explore the Minho region. It was an unforgettable experience!!! Thank you!! It was in the Camino when I finaly found it! It’s not very well marked and it’s little before you get to town so you need to look for it.

Breakfast spread was simple but good, plenty of variety...especially if you like baked goods!

Ponte de Lima is a lovely town and Casa da Travessa is centrally located. The owner was friendly and helpful. I was there early in the season so did not encounter anyone else there. Having the washing machine was great. There is a full kitchen, should you want it.

Ponte de Lima is a lovely little town. Very quiet, even in July/August. Not too many really good restaurants, and most tend to focus on the hearty local food! If you want a traditional lunch, try A Torre. The river is perfect for swimming in. The restaurant in the golf club is nice as well.

A lovely neat, friendly town with very helpful people and beautiful scenery. Pilgrims meal was affordable and tasty! Our pilgrim send off with a bell ringing 'ceremony' was memorable. Overall a lovely place to stay and easy to get around.

Ponte de Lima is a perfect place for a pilgrim on the Camino to take a rest day. Perfect place to get your laundry done properly, catch up with your sleep. Lots of nice restaurants to eat in. Many interesting alleys to walk through and enough sights to take in a day.

Ponte de Lima is a remarkably well-preserved, historically important village in Northern Portugal. It has been a crossroads for centuries. Probably for a Druids-like culture, definitely for the Romans, for hundreds of thousands of pilgrims walking the historic Camino (Caminho in Portuguese), as well as for people traveling east-to-west from the mountains to the Atlantic.
Today, Ponte de Lima continues to be an important crossroads as well as gathering space for walking & hiking, cyclists, various forms of boating (with a champion training center along the Rio Lima), horse riding, international gardening and more.
It's hard to fully explain how much cultural importance there is in Ponte de Lima for the Minho (region), Portugal (as a country), and, indeed, all of Europe in such a small village. Well worth visiting.
I spent three weeks there, fell in love with the village, and like it so much that I intend to move there.

The accommodation was small but very cozy and comfortable. Even equipped with a water boiler and some tea bags.
