Every interaction felt personal and genuine, which made our stay even more memorable. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the evening meal. The dining experience was nothing short of Michelin-starred perfection. Every dish was an art form, with exquisite flavors and attention to detail that left us savoring every bite. It’s rare to find food that’s as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the palate, but this was exactly that. The rural charm of the hotel, combined with its luxury and refinement, makes it a truly special destination. A lovely room and hotel. External looks are deceiving and a great surprise when you enter the building. Each level has its facilities with water, kettle, microwave with dining tables and sofa. R9. Was beautifully done and the toilet even had a bidet.

This is a unique property, set within the walls of an ancient and magnificent monastery. The hotel is very good but if you want perfect luxury and air-con etc maybe stay away. It requires an understanding and appreciation of its setting to get the best from it. Do allow time to visit the rest of the building, including the incredible monastery church (its free)
