The hotel is an old villa that has been restored very nicely, with large rooms and decent furnishings (some of massive wood); nice, large and functional bathroom; small, but very pleasant balcony; very clean bedsheets and towels. The staff was very polite and accommodating; there was a restaurant on the ground floor, where they were serving a decent breakfast and very basic dinner. The location was very quiet, on the edge of the town, but only 10 min walk from the center, with its springs, parks, spas and restaurants; the hotel also had a private parking and access road.

We really enjoyed staying at Melik. It is comfortable, spacious, clean. The staff is polite. Breakfast was good. It is a peaceful atmosphere, close to the spa center in Borsec.

When we arrived, the door had already been unlocked for us, no hassle to get in. You have the whole chalet at your disposal, with a separate bedroom + big sofa & TV in the living room, a large bathroom with a walk-in shower, it's all there. There is a loggia for sitting outside, even when the weather is not so good. You can park the car away from the street, the village centre is anyway easily reached on foot. We decided that we want to come back here next year, when the weather is warmer.
