Really lovely hotel, great foyer area with bar and free/tea coffee, modern decor. Hotel includes a small gym and a small heated pool. Beds were super comfortable, we had a large room and it was well-equipped with a bar fridge and a lot of storage. Location opposite the Lulea Ice Track was excellent and walking distance to all tourist attractions. The buffet breakfast is fantastic the sheer quantity of food and the size of the restaurant is impressive even though it is always busy there is enough space for everyone to sit and the food is continually replenished. All the staff were super friendly. The rooms were very quiet and warm. We would stay again.
Offering free spa and gym entrance and a modern restaurant and bar, this hotel is centrally located in Luleå, just 300 metres from Luleå Central Station.

Nice and peaceful place to stay overnight during a trip in Luleå. Buffet breakfast was ok for the price.
Checking in was really easy eventhough there were no staff around.
I can recommend this place and I could stay here again.
Clean and comfortable place. Visited "Old town" now for first time and it was nice. Cafeterias were not open, but nice old houses and beautiful church really worth visiting.
In Luleå shops are closing very early on Saturday and are closed on Sunday, it would be nice to do shopping longer. On Saturdays difficult to get table reservations to some restaurants, you might wan't to plan your dinner in advance and do booking before trip.

It was cold around Christmas time, it’s a small city with everything you need but nothing more than that.
I waited for the Aurora borealis but barely saw them these depends on the weather conditions I did expected the -25 and am happy that it didn’t got any colder than that

had coffee, a beautiful strawberry small pastry, cheap burgers (for swedish money), even bought a nice luggage
walked on a frozen lake (it was cold)
the sun shining, when not cloudy, 8/10
people sometimes smile at you when you greet them
we found NO cocktails in this god forsaken place, what people do for fun, remains a mystery (alcohol store was good tho, so probably they drink at home)
civilised place, with toilets and heating in multiple places
some trash on the floor, proper european culture

Luleå city, with its stunning landscape, is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. However, during my winter 2023 visit, I found the city's attractions quite limited. Many sites were unexpectedly closed for renovations or other reasons, and without pre-booked activities, options were scarce, as tickets for popular activities sold out quickly. The city's compact size makes it easy to explore on foot, but the lack of open attractions during my stay disappointed a traveler looking for spontaneous adventures.

Great clean air city center almost surrounded by water with beautiful views. Free ice skating and walking on the ice in winter - swimming in the summer in the clean water. Broad shopping avenues with a wide variety of good restaurants. Peaceful city not overcrowded, safe and clean both indoors and outside. Great relaxing getaway.

We came down to Lulea from 'the wilderness' further north west, it was a nice clean town with lots of facilities. We travelled down by train which was lovely - the station is right in the town so very convenient - as was the bus out to the airport when we left. It was late January and the sea was frozen - an amazing sight and experience to walk on it over to an island and then across to land on the other side (near the airport). We also tried 'kick-sledging' which was fun. In summer there is obviously lots of opportunity for enjoying the water and lovely countryside.

And to John Clease I have to say: If you look on the bright side, you try to be cheerful about a bad situation by thinking of some advantages that could result from it, or thinking it is not as bad as it could have been, always look at the bright side of life... :-)
Phew !
We visit Lulea regularly as we travel to the Arctic Circle and need only ever stay at this hotel- the staff are so friendly, always keen to help where possible and the rooms are fantastic! If you can stay in a King room, definitely do it- private sauna, deep bath, rain shower and heated floor tiling render it as your very own private spa! Dinner is delicious and location superb. If I could give these guys an 11/10 I would!
We didn't expect too much from this hotel and it's unassuming from the outside but the rooms are modern, clean and well equipped. Showers are great and the breakfast was varied and tasty. No complaints at all from us. The staff were helpful and it's only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Very easy to get to by the bus from the airport.
Nice little independent hotel in Luleå centre. Fit our needs perfectly. Nice breakfast, with a standard selection of "cold" options; coffee/tea also available in afternoon/evening. Hotel has a few parking places of its own, though not (quite) as many as there are rooms.
Such helpful staff that helped me organizing a delivery of flowers, huge bedroom with a comfy bed (that I did not want to leave) and delicious breakfast served at the roof restaurant with amazing view on the sea. Place to stay if you visit Luleå!
