We could not be happier with our stay at Sköllengården!! Great location with fantastic views and such a nice couple hosting us and sharing recommendations for the local area. Very nice with local beers and wines and really recommend to book the restaurant at the stay which sorted a great meal in a very cozy setting. Rooms and brekkie also great and we felt just at home. Keep in mind that this was ‘out of season’ so probably even better during the summer times. Thank you!!

Everything was good. Easy self check-in. Clean sheets and towels. Bed was comfy. We stayed in December, so there was on one else but only us. We got full privacy.

Huge apartment located minutes from the harbour, several restaurants and shops in Simrishamn Old Town. The apartment is located on the first floor of an old refurbished factory building and is tastefully decorated in a lavish style. There is a small balcony which gets the morning sun, so it's perfect for a relaxing breakfast. The owner was lovely and provided us with an interesting history of the building and the town. We were able to park in the building courtyard.

This is a nice town with almost all the facilities you need, The indoor pool will be availaibe in a year or so, the repairs have taken a lot longer than planned and cost a great deal more unfortunately. The outdoor pool at Tobisvik will be open in the summer. The cinema has reaopened with regular film shows. There are many cafe's & restaraunts to choose from and it has good train and bus servic es.

I like Simrishamn .
I like Simrishamn . It is a small town with many small shops. Small streets and the church was middle in the town. The houses was only 2 or 3 level high. Much to see in the town. Many restaurants. Nere to the sea and see the boats. Just outside it is a factorystreet and there you have also the Autoseum with 200 cars old or new, motorcycles, toys

The area is deserving of a much longer visit with more time to explore the history and natural beauty that it has to offer. I highly recommend renting bicycles from Rentbike Simrishamn (rentbike.se) even in inclement weather, and taking advantage of the many kilometres of bicycle paths close to the sea. PRO TIP: rent a bicycle and head out to the VYN wine bar (no reservations) at the new Daniel Berlin restaurant, farm and hotel property. Beautiful wine and carefully crafted food in an extraordinary location...mind blown!!

This is a quiet little town with a lot to offer, if you like quiet streets and quiet beaches. I have only seen it in the off season when it is pretty empty, and I can see that it could be much busier in the summer. The sea is clean and would be good for swimming. There is a place to get fresh fish, a couple bakeries, and a couple restaurants. There would be great bicycle rides out from here, though I didn't have a chance to try.

First-time visit, to short but we had a round trip tour planned. Will stay longer next time. Simrishamn is also good as a base for visiting nearby locations also well worth visiting. Kivik, the apple town just on the north and Branteviik on the south, plus many more places in Österlen, aka Toscana of Sweden.

Super cute town, with lovely little houses and it is great to stroll around. It has good places to eat (recommend Quarteys). It has a very good beach, 5 min walking from the town centre. From Simrishamn you can take the bus to the Stenhuvud national park, which is amazing!

The location was great for exploring the lovely town of Simrishamn and dinner at the hotel was delicious and thoughtfully prepared by a confident and creative kitchen. We were waited on by one of the owners, Patrik, in addition to other lovely staff. Our room was in the larger and more modern property to the hotel, closest to the sea. Its purpose is for small conference but it would make a lovely location for a large family gathering where everyone could have their own room. In addition this is a very dog friendly property! +++
Each room has a wonderful view on the fields and the sea from the small balcony. The room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. We really liked the breakfast, especially the fresh products used. The sauna is a lovely addition to the hotel. The owner of the hotel took some time to explain what to do in the area and the staff in general was kind and helpful.
The breakfast offered a very good variety, especially on the healthy side, no gimmicky luxury
The large rose garden was the highlight of the hotel. The hotel owners and the service team were very friendly and helpful.
