Warm reception from friendly owners. Setting is beautiful - in the countryside with wonderful views, away from any noise. Nice terrace can be enjoyed in warmer weather. Room was comfortable, nice bed and pillows, heater to take away the morning chill, wardrobe and desk. Our room had two balconies, one with table and chairs, both with excellent views of the surrounding hills and vineyard. Enjoyed a nice dinner - four courses with wine from their vineyard. Breakfast also very nice - eggs, breads with homemade jams, yogurt, fresh juice. Loved it all!

DAM Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel that is well situated to explore not only the Slovenian wine region, but also to easily explore all of Slovenia's many charms. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and beautifully landscaped, including a newly added pool. There is a lovely bar that serves the restaurant for pre/post dining cocktails and is also used for the breakfast service.
Michelin starred DAM Restaurant situated in the hotel is something to be experienced! It is helmed by the charming chef Uroš Fakuč and every course is personally supervised by him; mouthwatering seafood prepared to perfection! And highly recommend getting the wine pairing; Uroš pairs every course with wine from the region. The meal was so good, we went back the next night; chef Uroš prepared a seven-course meal just for us so that we didn’t have to eat the same thing twice! Talk about personalized service.

Rooms and bathrooms were modern - newly renovated and comfortable. Beautiful interior (cellar, restaurant etc). Great views. Very convenient location, down the street from some top wine producers and great running trails. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Switched rooms when TV didn’t work in the first room

The nature was stunning, and the locals were amiable and calm. The local wine and olive oil were delicious. I suggest you try a Briška Hiša for dinner or late lunch. Just plan your trips ahead, and don't trust Google Maps, as it has led me through some very wrong turns.
