Clean, good location, good breakfast and friendly staff especially the front desk staff who helped me with bus schedules.

    Strunjan is a quiet small resort with a few places to eat and drink. It can get very busy in the summer. There are good walks nearby. For those who want a lot of facilities, bars etc it is not a good choice. Out of season is great for those who want peace and relative quiet.

    The nice saltpans with a small museum in the middle, both sides of the bay, have hotels for budget guests or one that required a little higher standards. There are many marked paths to hike around or just plain walk. Strunjan bay is not a village but it lies between Izola and Piran. At the beginning of the bay, there is a bus station and mini market and at the end, there are many restaurants and a beach with some trees and grass to give shadow and a place to rest. In nice weather, you will really enjoy it.

    Strunjan is one of my favorit sea shore in any season.

    Strunjan is one of my favorit sea shore in any season. Picturesque, green and reach meditteranian vegetation, fish and mushels, local vines and olive oil. Town of Piran and Izola are just a walk far. Plenty of local Inn with good food.

    Friendly staff, situated perfectly only 5-10 min. from the beach, delicious breakfast buffet, beautiful 40 min. walk or 15 min. bike ride to Portoroz through former railway tunnel and the astonishingly beautiful Moon Bay is just a 30 Min hike away. If you love nature, you‘ll love Strunjan! :)

    Good for quite vacation. Easy to get there by bus and then there is gratis bus going directly to the beach and the hotel. Breakfast was very good. Dinner in the neighborhood hotel not so much. Be prepared to climb many stairs. There is a small pool in the hotel, which is good for kids.

    Excellent location, large room and bed. The small terrace was great. We had accommodation facing the garden, but it didn't matter because the hotel has a large terrace where you could sit. Tasty breakfast.
