First, Lenka was very concerned about the "misunderstanding" about there being NO INTERNET on the property. The fault is with Booking.com in that even though I had clicked on Wi-Fi being a requirement before selecting the property, it came up in the search results, something not Lenka's fault. Second, did I mention there was NO INTERNET, not a minor thing! Third, the stairs to the loft were ladder-like in their steepness, and one could not feel safe using them in the middle of the night should the necessity arise for a bathroom break. As a result two of us (both with some age on us) used a bedroom on the first level having a bed with but 6 inches of space on each side so we had to climb in and out over the footboard. And, the mattresses had springs that could be felt through their covers! Fourth, the dishes and glassware were a collection of pieces with hardly two of anything the same. The only two tiny wine glasses both had chips on the rim, so one had to be very careful when either drinking from the them or washing them. Fifth, the shower was state-of-the-art to the point that it required instruction on how to use it. I spent 5 minutes trying to turn the water on and finally gave up and took a sponge bath! Lastly, the outdoor kitchen/dining area was nicely appointed with a cooking fireplace and separate boiler kettle. It was certainly a quaint and inviting property at first glance, but didn't measure up to standards anyone might apply.

There was excellent staff, the cleanliness of the hotel and all of the facilities. The wait staff in the restaurant was excellent . I was disappointed in the spa area because it was so crowded and the swimming pool was pretty warm. With Covid, I was uncomfortable using the spa and pool.
