The proprietors are helpful, friendly and kind.
The property is nicely maintained.
There are swings for the children in the yard.
Our unit had beautiful tiled walls in the bathroom and part of the kitchen and hardwoods floors. It was like a little apartment and it was very comfortable. It had a small but fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, each with two twin beds. The bedrooms had portable heaters.
The bathroom is pretty large and the bathtub is beautiful, (but not built for tall people.). 😉
Just FYI, there are several stairs to reach the room but they are wide and comfortable to climb.
We would stay there again.

It was magical. Every detail from the hand carved wood furniture and fittings to the handmade curtains and duvet covers showed the pride and effort that went into everything at this hotel. It was amazing.

The view was amazing and the host very friendly and accommodating as we were arriving quite late. The rooms were very clean and the common area neat and well kept with a variety of drinks and local products for purchase.

Location was easy to find, very close to Dolny on one side and the Castle on the other. The Orava region is amazing.
The room was clean, smelled good, towels clean. It was very quiet.
We did not speak the same language, but we communicated very well with Mr. Forgáč and he helped us with extra requests, even though he didn't have to.
We felt like we had freedom to feel like home. The place is small, simple, but cosy..
It is perfect for travellers who want to explore the mountains and connect with the nature. Definitely not for the ones used to room service. A great place for bikers.

Great for the break from city life. Good addition is a pool and jacuzzi. Nice breakfast, good dinners. Friendly staff.
Good driving distance to see the Oravsky hrad and Oravska priehrada.
