The Manager called Boy is very friendly. The food was exceptionally good. The bed was comfortable and had a mosquito net. The evening meal was with other guests on a big table which was a good opportunity to meet other travelers. The garden is nice.

A beautiful old building with wonderful architecture - yes, it has come of age a bit, but it's still absolutely lovely. With seafront restaurant, an elevated stone gazebo, and plenty of space to sunbathe and hang out. And all that of course located right by the beautiful (and mostly quite empty) sunset beach. You can walk along the beach to some other bars and restaurants if you wish, or just stay here.
Rooms are simple but nice, have a small outdoor area, everything works just fine. The restaurant is good, reasonably priced food and drinks and nice flexible service.
Overall, an absolutely lovely quiet place to stay right by the beach with friendly people, lovely dogs, and a very attention-hungry cute cat.
