It was a perfect balance of comfort and nature. The rooms had electricity 100% of the time during our stay. Private toilet and shower in the room. There was only cold water available, but that is not really an issue in these temperatures. No airconditioning, but the fan will help enough at night. There was no roof or door in the bathroom, also the roof in the room itself is not completely closed. There will be some insects and geckos around, but during all of our stay we had no issues, they were all very polite. The food in the restaurant is top notch!! The people are very caring and will arrange unforgettable trips on and around the island. The beach is 10 seconds away. We were able to snorkle and look at some corals and fish when the water was clear. (We took our own gear with us). The cats on the property are lovely. For cat lovers, there is the "Cat's house" about 1km walk from the resort. There is a sweet lady caring for 100+ cats and the cats are also all very sweet. All the locals are really nice. Everything about our stay was simply amazing and we will be back for sure!

This is a small island where there is nothing going on, and it is perfect. No stores, no 7/11, no ATM. Only a few bungalow accommodations and the rest of the island is untouched. The owner Sao came yo pick me up at the pier (there is only 2 ferries coming from Donsak each day). The cottage is right on the ocean, and you can fall asleep to the sound. The bed was comfortable and the fan was enough for me to sleep overnight :) Sao is a girl of all trades, she is cooking food for you as you wish 🥰 she is so kind and lovely. We did a half day trip via long boat booked through her to the Ang Thong national park, it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. ❤️ I didn't have cell service there but there was great wifi! I would stay here for a month if I could!! A wonderful place to quiet your mind

The room was set in a lovely garden that was well maintained and had so much nature it was beautiful. Mr O was an awesome host he had so much local knowledge and showed us some very nice places. It was like having a personal tour guide. The food was lovely and all the staff made me feel like family.

I was in Phaluai for a couple of days and really enjoyed my stay. Dao, the host, came pick us up at the pier and also brought us there after checking out. The property is a bit far from restaurants, but Dao can help you arrange transportation to go there. Dao was very helpful with all questions we had. The rooms are small, simple and basic, but you don't need more than that. The property is just next to the sea, in front of a mangrove forest, you can also take one of their kayak and explore the bay. From there you can also hike to another beautiful beach, is only 20 minutes from there. Overall I really enjoyed my stay.
