It's a cool hotel to experience for 1 night. The river on your doorstep is great and the elephant in the morning was nice. Location is remote but beautiful.

Very nice rooms on the water. There are alternative rooms that are not on the water. If you enjoy sitting on your balcony enjouying closeness to the water. Choose the raft rooms. But know that they float so there will be movement in the room. Especially if a boat passes by. There is also a nice pool. Restaurant serves delicious food.

We had a great stay at Rimwang Riiver Life. The resort is an oasis of peace along the river. The view of the water is great. The resort is a great base to explore and discover the area and the nature park further away. The resort is run by a friendly family. The rooms are clean, the fridge is well stocked. There is no restaurant, but the family likes to cook the most delicious meals in their own kitchen. If desired, they can be brought to your room. You can also be picked up at the Nam Tok train station for a small fee. Very nice if you arrive tired after a long, but beautiful train ride from Bangkok. In short, a great stay. You couldn't wish for better!

The view from the cabin is EVERYTHING. We couldn't find a better view in the entire resort. The onsen with thermal water was surprisingly refreshing despite the 40 degree outside temperature. The warm water somehow made you cool off. At night it's magical!
Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Privacy from the room was top tier.
Definitely worth the price of the room and the journey to get to the resort.
The sounds at night kept us trying to decipher which animal was which. Lots of cute geckos and beautiful birds. This is the only place I regretted not having binoculars!
This resort was the highlight of our Thailand trip!
The museum was very informative and the gardens of the resort are beautiful. You can tell the place was built with the guest experience in mind!

The resort is pretty clean and comfy, everything was fine!
The staff was just a little too slow
For example, we ordered food and they brought some of the food, then 20 mins later after some of us finished, the other friends got their foods served. They had to watch us eat, i didn't like that.. same with drinks.
And they need to improve their english speaking skills because unfortunately it was very hard to communicate.
Mida Resort Kanchanaburi - SHA PLUS is a 30-minute drive from River Kwai Bridge and is surrounded by natural landscapes. It offers free Wi-Fi, flat-screen satellite TVs, an outdoor pool and a spa.

Loved the feeling of being in the outdoors, right on the river in a gorgeous setting. Even the rain storm didn't detract from the beautiful setting.
Beautiful natural spring and floating sun deck.

Sai Yok is great for people wanting to visit beautiful natural wonders and the terrible death railway of WW11. However, information is often incorrect and wrong most locals have no English. I researched extensively and even that was not enough most websites offer information that is ab solutely wrong and only their own experience NOT FACTS, enjoy.

Sai Yok is a big place which encompasses National Parks, reservoirs and dams as well as forests, mountains, animal sanctuaries, rivers and even a World War 2 death railway. You can choose to drive up in a personal car, as I did, about 3 hours from Bangkok but on a very scenic route, or you can take the train. Once there you can travel on the famed river Kwai if you want to and see all of the natural beauty and wildlife that abounds. I only went for 3 days this time but it is about my 12th visit as I live in Bangkok, and I always find that there is something different to do, just be aware of the rainy season which can curtail anyone's day.

I travelled to Sai Yok by car, so was able to explore the area easily. I didn't book any organised trips.
Sai Yok National Park was worth the Foreigner price - the waterfalls were easily accessible, and if I was younger and fitter I would have been able to spend a long time wandering about.
I refused to pay the foreigner price for Lawa Cave, as did the Western family with four children who arrived at the same time. I did not feel that the experience would be worth it, and for the family it would have been extremely expensive.
Thin Lin Hot Springs, however, charges the same price for everyone. Affordable for Thai people and an absolute bargain for Westerners. The pools are tiled, so do not look natural, but it is very clean and a beautiful place. There is a roped off area in the nearby river, so it is possible to swim and paddle safely without fear of being swept away. The current is very strong.
The area is very beautiful and quite unspoilt. I recommend it for those wanting a peaceful, back to nature type of holiday.

The activities on offer at the hotel were extremely expensive. 1,500 baht to hire a canoe for 30 mines. A trip to the River Kwai bridge with my partner diet 6,00 baht!!!! The noise from the cicadas was deafening and no one mentioned that it was mating season on the website. It was far too noisy to use the pool facilities.
