Newly renovated, everything looks very modern. It was around 5 degrees Celsius outside but the room was well heated compared to another hotel nearby (I shivered in my coat in that one but was able to take it off at Dafong). They have electric blankets I think, I didn’t use it though. Breakfast coupon for Haishan Yuan restaurant. One of the cheaper hotel options if you want to stay overnight.

This was the cheapest hotel I could afford in Alishan since I really wanted to spend a night here, so I wasn't very bothered by the low ratings. The location was perfect—close to everything. I loved the cute bathtub. It fits me because I'm small; I'm not sure it will be for others. The room was clean and small, but just nice for a single person; it could be tight for two people. There is a water station, which was great.
