The host was very friendly and helpful. As Taroko was closed due to the April earthquake, she had suggestions for alternatives like ATV or whale watching. She will help book. Breakfast is delicious and very abundant while healthy. Very spacious room with high ceilings.

Lisa and Boya are exceptional hosts— I felt very welcome and enjoyed their tour, Boya ‘s piano playing, and making a friendship bracelet. Boya was very kind to pick me up from the train station and to bring me back there. The breakfast was exceptional and the room was very clean and comfortable. I slept like a log!

This hotel is very close to Taroko national park so great location! And the drive to Hualien city is beautiful so we didn’t mind it at all ( 30 mins drive)

Modern furnishing and clean rooms. Bathrooms were also clean too. Nice that the bathrooms were gender-segragated. Has washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. Although check-in and checkout were self-auto staff were nice and attentive when I had questions and requests.

Room was really nice, some things were missing such as a mirror in the room (only one in the bathroom) and the windows were dirty so we could not enjoy our sea view. You need to walk to the other building for the spa and swimming pool. We did our own checkin and checkout, during our stay there was no reception crew in our building (Serenity). Happy with the easy parking as well (below the building). It is not far from Taroko National Park and 25 min from Hualien. There are some stray dogs around, so be aware of that.
