Highly recommended, it is close to the Kibale National park which made it easy for us to catch up with our Chimpanzee tracking. The food and breakfast were really good, Bruce and Samantha welcomed us and worked on us very well. They helped keep our stuff safely until we returned from the Chimp Tracking at midday. You can arrange your Bigodi Swamp and Community walk at the location, we worked with Denis during a Bigodi Swamp, he is really knowledgeable and amazing

We had a great stay in the lodge, beautifully located in the forest.
The service staff is always courteous, very personable and friendly. We felt comfortable all the time.
The lodge is close to the starting point for the Chimp Trekking and is also a good starting point for a beautiful "community walk" where you definitely shouldn't miss the Banana Men :D

Nice bungalows in the green, a few minutes drive from the chimp trekking site. To our query, the staff arranged for a local guide to spend the afternoon with us and walk with us through the local community. A very tasty dinner and cold beer on the terrace were a nice bonus.

Located on top of an isolated hill on the crater rim, the lodge offers an exceptional view of the lake and the distant Rwenzori Mountains. The best part of the lodge is that it is an NGO and has completely changed the local community! All the following aspects made for a wonderful week: - The location is beautiful, overlooking the lake on a beautifully maintained property. - The food was truly amazing! I lived in France for 13 years which is renowned for food and this was comparable. - The staff are very friendly and helpful. We also had the very rare opportunity to share the week with the NGO founders who were visiting from Spain to conduct ongoing business. They are beautiful, humble people who have sacrificed so much for others in needs. They immediately earned our respect. - There are many interesting activities to do around the lodge, all run by locals, in partnership with the lodge (e.g., bird watching on a boat on the lake, vanilla production tour, coffee production tour, visit to the local market, meeting the children in the school, etc.)

Stunning little cottages on the edge of a crater lake. We were able to watch birds and monkeys frolic below us from the little porch on our cottage. There is also a track that runs down to the lake and around and back up to the ridge, which was a nice walk. The food was exceptional - Joseph is a wonderful cook, and he was whipping up scrumptious meals out of his little kitchen. The staff were great also at reminding us when we needed to get moving to make it to our chimp trek. They always had pots of tea at the ready and provided exceptional service.
