Decent resort hotel at this remote location. The interiors of the room are old fashioned. The look and feel of the resort hotel is outdated. The food menu is limited for international options and preparations not really authentic. But still it tasted good. The room & stay was quite comfortable though. The hotel needs a complete makeover to bring it to current style of hotels. But being at remote place, having limited footfall & with struggling economy, the chances of makeover are slim for sure.

Beautiful. So green, lots of vegetation. We loved the animals at the zoo, enjoyed the guided tour. The staff was very attentive. The hot water wasn’t working and they fixed it for us. Laundry service was great but very pricey.

The breakfast and the meals brought to my room were great. The views of Wanale escarpment. The location in the senior quarters is in the resort neighbourhood. The distance to the centre is a walkable distance. I stayed in one of the upstairs terrace rooms facing the Thatch Lounge and had the full music onslaught till 2AM every night and enjoyed it. Fay was a great host.
