Breakfast was sub-par. I have been staying at Hamptons for 20 years and the quality has definitely dropped off. Sausage and omelets tasted awful. Waffle was pretty good though

Alice Texas is a very small town with very few nice restaurants to eat the only place we could fine with Chili’s. It might be a good place to hide out and get some rest but our Hampton Inn was the most horrible place that we ever had to stay. First of all they did not give us the right room that we had reserved we reserved a king bed and a couch that rolled out. We were given one with only one king size bed which meant somebody had to sleep on the floor horrible the hot water never worked so we could never take a shower there we had to run another room elsewhere just to take a shower their main road had very few things maybe the only thing I saw was Walmart. Now the person who is holding those some tournaments football tournaments there’s was border wars is really making a lot of money off of the city. These are children ages five and over playing football in different areas of Alice including Aguas dulces Space. Now they move the teams around from field to feel which meant that everywhere you went you had to pay high price to get into watch your child grandchildren and great grandchildren whoever was playing at $10 a pop and that’s a little bit high that man is tearing y’all up he’s the same man that had the trim in McAllen Texas who is getting rich off of additional city. So that’s my only recommendation if you want to take a break away from everybody else that nobody knows you go to Alice Texas but you’ll have to travel a good distance to get something decent to eat.

I have stayed in Alice multiple times, first time at the Holiday Inn, and now will be the only place I stay when I go! Everything was great… the parking, the room, the pool, and the free breakfast was better than all the other hotels! And I know because I’ve stayed in them all! Desiree at the front desk was the BEST service I’ve ever had at a hotel, she is friendly and accommodating! She set the mood for a relaxing stay!
I don’t know where the “Pleasant” review came from because this hotel was horrible. The staff was sweet and friendly but the actual hotel…gross. There were stained sheets, stains on the walls, dirty carpet, and no warm/hot water. We had to shower in ice cold water for three days. It’s not in a good location either. It was non-refundable so we had to tough it out, but it really was disgusting and dirty.
We stayed at LaQuinta for the pet friendly. I was charged $20 for my pet.
Breakfast was a joke. Nothing what it advertised
I did not get my reward points. Pool had not been serviced there for it was closed.
Chair in the room was nasty & torn. I took a picture.
Front desk at check in was terrible rude.
Had to activate room key not once but twice.
