The Caldwell hotel needs an elevator badly. Try hauling luggage up three sets of stairs to the 3rd floor at the age 79. The room was nice but the bed needs a new mattress. The right side was slanted and bumpy. Room 325.

The house was great. Amenities well presented.
The house was great. Amenities well presented. The "host" was very helpful ahead of time as we were working on adding a day at the start. Road construction on non weekend days a bit much and the detours were definitely a distraction. Good thing we had no plans in Caldwell Monday morning because from the house you had one option, Interstate 84 west bound. No warning, just boom, here your sign!

Lots of options for food and shopping is close.
Lots of options for food and shopping is close. Indian Creek Plaza has some great food options as well as shopping. D & B Supply is a great place for clothes and supplies.
We found it pretty easy to learn our way around the area. There’s some construction close by but it can be easily avoided once you get to know the area.

Another thing: I extended my stay for two more nights.
Another thing: I extended my stay for two more nights. When I stopped by the desk to check on my reservation I was told it was extended, no problem. However when I retUrned to the hotel my key wouldn’t open the door. I had bags of food and needed to use the bathroom. The lobby was clear down the hall and I had to go down to get the clerk to extend my reservation and my key entry. I thought that was “taken care of”!

Location was fine although noisy so close to freeway, needed a room for the night because of a plan change and it was available. It's a Budget Inn so didn't expect much. Front desk person was nice and courteous once we were able to check in. Room was clean. Nice TV and front desk person came and helped us reset it. Great Mexican restaurant close by, El Compo.
Not worthy of the name Wyndham. This is a truckers hotel from the 70s. A step above motel 6. Suites on second floor accessible only by stairs no elevator. NOT for ambient get away, just a place to sleep.
