The building is quiet, hardly heard neighbors next door, though they could be the quiet sort. The proxmity to good coffee [Starbucks] is welcome, easy walk. Facilities are clean, ice machine works.

My room was a whole vibe. I appreciate ambience and the lighting was very relaxing. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was really nice. However, I have never stayed somewhere that nice before so of course I loved it.

Located in Chapel Hill, 11 miles from Duke University, Graduate by Hilton Chapel Hill provides accommodations with free bikes, private parking, a fitness center and a shared lounge.

The staff did not tell me that there was a public lot next to the hotel when I specifically askedif there was one. They told me to park in the hotel parking lot and charged me an exorbitant amount for an overnight...it was free next door. If I did not ask, that would be a different conversation, but I did ask and was still told to park and pay which I found egregious. In general, the front desk staff was not very warm and welcoming.

Chapel Hill is a lovely university town with lots of rolling hills and trees. The buildings on campus are lovely and the grounds are well kept. Our favorite restaurant is Talullas's Turkish Restaurant on W. Franklin. The whole black sea bass and the lamb shank will not disappoint! Try the eggplant and walnut appetizer - Patican Ezmesi with the round loaf of hot baked bread!

Chapel Hill is excellent but recommend you do not stay in Courtyard by Marriott due to rude poor service provided by front desk. Costed us more than the booking rate due to front desk clerk changing the reservation at check in. No service recovery offered by manager

My biggest problem was someone pulled the fire alarm at 4o'clock in the morning, and the hotel didn't adjust the bill to reflect the loss of sleep, or even offer an explanation. The only time it was mentioned was when I bought it up.

    Check out the Rizzo Center!

Check out the Rizzo Center! It combines the charm of a bygone era with comfirtable modern amenities. Take a walk on the grounds and enjoy spectacular flower gardens, mature trees, and brick walking paths. I booked this trip for my husband and me as a Valentine's gift, and he loved it, commenting several times on how impressed he was with the hotel, service, food, and staff.

Chapel Hill is a beautiful university city.

Chapel Hill is a beautiful university city. It's a wonderful place to walk and gaze at the UNC-Chapel Hill campus (oldest school in the country). Some fun places to eat, I tried a Mediterranean place on Franklin street. The city has a really nice vibe and atmosphere. Easy to get around on the free city buses. Disadvantage is that it's on the expensive side and requires some planning. Although the RDU airport serves all three major cities in the area it's mainly car based so you'll probably end up getting a rental.

I came to help my dad move into the new Azalea Estates retirement community and had a great time visiting Chapel Hill. Folks are friendly and helpful. Lots of great restaurants, campus has so much to offer-I particularly enjoyed the Auckland Art Museum. Ate ate The Rise, Luna, 410, Carrboritos, Al’s Hamburgers and also bought food at Weaver Street Market and Harris Teeters to fix meals in my room. And when I missed my cats I went to the Cat Cafe on Franklin Street -had a great time.
