The bungalow was very cozy and charming.

The bungalow was very cozy and charming. There were two bedrooms, an efficiency kitchen, a bathroom, and a fireplace. There were grills, a horseshoe pit, and picnic tables. The porches had chairs on them as well. Wish I could have stayed there longer. Terri was gracious and very helpful. Black Bear Tavern is nearby and has great food and service.

The location just off a quiet secondary road on a country club property, while still being a very short ride to downtown restaurants, etc., is great. Also the room was clean and the beds were comfortable, with good pillows, too. The front desk attendant was very pleasant and accommodating with advice/instructions, etc. Unfortunately, however, the motel room was small and very outdated, with no frig and with seriously worn carpeting and a small bath that lacked shelving for toiletries and hooks for hanging clothes. On that basis, I feel it was noticeably overpriced, especially for this very rural location that's not in a major tourist attraction area.
