Breakfast was fair. Would have liked to have another breakfast meat option.

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and the owner was a delight to talk to.
It’s a new location for us to visit.
Pros:
Nice Holiday Inn
Fun train ride. Sam’s Shortline all year long.
It’s a nice location to get to and from the highway.
We will be back!
Con:
The RAIL HOUSE is a cute bar/restaurant
The hostess quickly seated us
The waitress took our appetizer order and delivered it promptly. The meal order took over an hour and came out cold.

I don't like any thing about it it wasn't what I expected booking. Com should not recommend this hotel they took money for three nights before I reached the hotel I canceled my reservation after seeing the hotel was told on reservation if I canceled I would have to pay seventy dollars but they took $216 dollars they are just taking money that don't belong to them once people see the hotel they leave

After leaving my father's death bed, we were involved in a horrible car crash and were forced to choose this hotel. The next morning, we encountered a female employee that locked my son in the breakfast room while dining and started an argument with him because he commented that it was a fire hazard. When he wanted to let my daughter in to dine, the employee became even more rude and ended up assaulting my daughter and myself. We did not call the police, due to the manager's promise to discipline the employee and an offer to discount our next night's stay.

The hotel is old and run down.
The hotel is old and run down. The room was dark, cramped and dirty. Grubby handprints on doors, stains on sheets, hairs in bed. Kitchen facilities in the dirty bathroom. The room smelt. The breakfast was disgusting.

Cordele has seen better times in the past.
Cordele has seen better times in the past. Old run-down buildings were everywhere. The train which can be rode every other Saturday is probably the only thing worth doing in that city. We only stopped there to cut our long trip to Florida in half. We even had trouble finding food. The restaurant "The Rail House" was inviting and turned out to be very good but not exactly cheap either (big city beer prices).
