Evanston is a comfortable town. I really enjoyed the Bear River Greenway. I didn't see a moose this time, but I did get to see the bison and elk at Bear River State Park. There was a good rodeo going on the weekend that I was in Evanston. But the best experience I have had in Evanston WY is the July 4th fireworks! It seems like everyone in town is setting off an amazing firework display. It is a non-stop fireworks display that light up the sky for hours! However, at 11:00 pm, everyone stops and it goes back to being quiet and peaceful. I really could see myself living in Evanston, the people are friendly, there are interesting things to do and it's not too far (80 miles or so) to Ogden for shopping. Bear Lake isn't too far away and the Uintas are close enough to hike in on a regular basis. One last thing, the Walmart in Evanston is one of the best anywhere (and I've been in hundreds of them). The next visit I plan to visit the Round House, the last roundhouse on the Union Pacific Railroad line from Omaha to Sacramento.

Lovely town to visit for many reasons, personal and business...
Lovely town to visit for many reasons, personal and business. It is close to one location my company operates. Also, close enough (just over an hour) to a major airport (Salt Lake City, Utah).
Depending on the time of year you can enjoy many outdoor activities.

Bathroom needs to be changed.
Bathroom needs to be changed. Stool was made for a kid, had hard time sitting down and then getting up. Not disability compliant I am sure. One lamp had a short in it, so unplugged it. Breakfast food was cold one morning out of two days that I ate there. Was clean and was good size, but bathroom sucked.

We went for the Celtic Festival in mid-March.
We went for the Celtic Festival in mid-March. It was excellent. The volunteers who helped with it were terrific! Some housed the musicians, Many helped from the admissions table to moving chairs to taking out trash. What a great group of people helped! The cost for the weekend was very reasonable. The food available for purchase, and the beer, were very good. The people we talked with were friendly and pleasant.

Every thing is clean. All rooms are on ground floor. The hot breakfast is served in the restaurant on the property and was good. Absolutely every employee we came in contact with were very friendly, went out of their way to take care of you and make you feel welcome. The restaurant had delicious food. we ate dinner both nights and the food was excellent and large portions. If I ever return to Evanston I would definitely stay here!!
