I would not recommend visiting this city until they get their crime cleaned up. This is a dangerous city. We stayed for a total of a few hours because we felt unsafe. We got McDonald's and almost were robbed by a woman checking out cars (their handles and back windows). If my husband didn't stay in the car we would have been a victim. While getting gas a man on something he approached my husband asking for money.

They charge you $8.00 per night for parking, which you are not informed of until you check in and they take your credit card for “ incidentals “ quite the surprise!
This is a flat, uncovered and unattended lot in suburban Federal Way. Not worth the fee and defiantly will NOT stay here again for the lack of communication and warning in advance!
Major RIP-OFF!

My experience is that crime is expected after discussing the break in of my vehicle another guest told me that he was warned by the hotel staff to not leave anything that might be stolen in his vehicle. I assumed that paying for parking would add some security but I was wrong. The Hotel clerk did provide me with a plastic bag to clean the glass from my smashed passenger side window. My wife and I drove the 270 miles from Federal Way to Spokane without a window.

Proximity of stores and places to eat and dine, movie theater. Tried Panda Express and the food was very good, shopped at Ross, Tjmaxx, target and home goods and found really great merchandise. Bigger selection and variety.

The worst part about the whole experience was the 4000 follow up emails if I choose to do a survey and I say no that’s what I expect I don’t expect to be hit three and four times a day about the same survey that’s the worst experience think about it

Federal Way is a city that has outgrown its infrastructure with a population and business boom. I grew up here, so I was returning to visit family. There are lots of options for shopping, outdoor recreation, and is a good location for easy access to Seattle and Tacoma.

- In general not bad hotel to stay for one night.
- Plenty of parking around the hotel.
- Very good location. You have lots of shops and restaurants near the hotel and it is close to airport. But mind the traffic jams that can be terrible. It took us 1.5h to get to airport which is only 20km away.
- Room was big and comfortable. It was also quite in the room. Beds and shower were also good.
Read some bad reviews previously however found it quite safe. There were some shady people in the car park however the hotel had after hours card access only and was busy enough to feel safe. There was also a security car patrolling the car park regularly which seemed to keep the law breakers away. Staff very friendly and personable.
