Hotel itself was very nice but people should have been told that staff was running late so they didn't know what time that breakfast would be ready. People were waiting 15+ minutes before someone said something. I'm thinking what if wanted to catch a bite before they headed out for an appointment. That 15 minutes could have caused them to be late. At least post a sign as soon as you know something so people can make other plans. NOBODY wants to be left wondering. It's understandable when things beyond someones control happen but it's not acceptable when you have control over a situation and you don't communicate.... a simple sign would work.

    Helen is a cute town, this is my second visit.

    Helen is a cute town, this is my second visit. The German motif seems gimmicky and a little like a tourist trap type town. Having said that, it is different and fun. I also enjoyed the neighboring vineyards. The people are very nice.

    We had a blast.

    We had a blast. It was our 28th wedding anniversary and we enjoyed every second! Caramel apples are a must from Hansel and Gretal. Schnitzel ANYWHERE! Get a room close enough to walk, it is the best part of the trip!

    Helen is a beautiful town with many shppling opportunities.

    Helen is a beautiful town with many shppling opportunities. Prices are as expected in a tourist town. Many food varieties. Walking is easy and plenty of sights to see. Majority of shops are stroller friendly. If you're outdoorsy like us and prefer nature to shopping, having a rest day in town is great! International Cafe has AMAZING food and lots of options! Super child friendly.

    Great time of year to go. No overcrowded. Everyone is so friendly.Geeat place to eat is Cowboys & Angles. Glass shop is a must go to!! Very relaxing & chill place to get away to for a short time!!!

    Quite a lovely place.

    Quite a lovely place. Lots of shops to browse and buy from, the Mountain Coaster was absolutely fun. Lots of restaurants to choose from with great food. Definitely a need to see place. Lots of parking, but for a change, like $10-$20 depending on where you park. Lots of walking to enjoy

    The alpine town of Helen takes its inspiration from the villages of Germany, complete with the building style of downtown shops and restaurants. But it's also in the heart of northeast Georgia, offering travelers outdoor sports like tubing and hiking, along with wine tasting at the many vineyards nearby.

    Location was amazing with great views and beautiful sunrises. Staff was very friendly and helpful daily. My family stayed in a private bungalow, and it was Amazing and quite relaxing. Perfect amount of space, room service was phenomenal and again, the staff was awesome!! And the Spa services were exceptional. Highly recommend the hot stone massage!!!
