Didn't know there were no elevators. Instructions we received were to park in back, so entering the basement of facility. My husband had to haul 200 lbs of luggage up 1.5 flights of stair to our room.. I have a bad back. We were on an extended vacation, so had 4 bags that were each 50 lbs plus our backpacks and laptop. Said breakfast was included. All that was left when we got down to snack area was coffee, pop tarts and some hard/stale funky bagels...maybe jalapeno, not sure They were in plastic sandwich bags with no Ziploc. . I never saw a staff member, but received a response to a text question promptly.

The staff was phenomenal. After converting me from Desert Sage to Gooseberry retreat they did everything in their power to make sure the transition was as smooth and as possible. The facility was excellent and so were the provisions.

This lodge is next to the Zion National Park and 4 miles from downtown Springdale. The property features an outdoor pool, hot tub and rooms with refrigerators.
