Didn't know there were no elevators. Instructions we received were to park in back, so entering the basement of facility. My husband had to haul 200 lbs of luggage up 1.5 flights of stair to our room.. I have a bad back. We were on an extended vacation, so had 4 bags that were each 50 lbs plus our backpacks and laptop.
Said breakfast was included. All that was left when we got down to snack area was coffee, pop tarts and some hard/stale funky bagels...maybe jalapeno, not sure They were in plastic sandwich bags with no Ziploc. .
I never saw a staff member, but received a response to a text question promptly.

Property was very clean and comfortable. It was like we were staying in a home away from home.

Nothing. We arrived at some scary house that was not what was advertised. Booking was cancelled middle of the night and I didn’t see a single cabin!

The staff was phenomenal. After converting me from Desert Sage to Gooseberry retreat they did everything in their power to make sure the transition was as smooth and as possible. The facility was excellent and so were the provisions.

The border Store on the edge of the state border with Arizona is a great little gem - the people are so friendly and the store is well equipped.
I loved this little town and would highly recommend it.

The tents were great! Beds were comfortable! We slept great! Very cute! We Loved they way it looked with tents and solar lights all lit up at night. Great location! Lots to do! Loved Waterfall canyon hike just down the road.
Very disappointed with Bathrooms, showers and kitchen. Expected better for the price we paid. Bathroom and showers needed lots of repairs, smelled bad and toilets looked dirty. Hated the shared community kitchen area. It was way to small, Inconvenient and very dirty. The Refrigerator was filthy and to small to share with entire campground. Silverware and utensils were kept in dirty plastic bins. Absolutely No countertop space. You’ll definitely want to eat out if you stay there. Not sure I’d recommend it to my friends.

Small snd quiet town but had a big grocery store, Bee's Marketplace, for our food needs. The view was nice. It is almost an hour away from Zion Park. It feels a little remote but in a peaceful way.

This home is in the backyard of a house, fine for some but the description on Booking.com makes it seem like a compound of tiny homes, it’s not! Renters should also be very aware that there is a tiny metal ladder to get to the bed. No railing or security on the bunk. It’s a bit dangerous and I would not recommend for anyone who has mobility issues and definitely not kids! If you are someone who gets up frequently during the night it’s also difficult! There are also no restaurants in Hildale! Many other little towns closer to Zion with more to do!

You stay here to be close (76km) to Zion National Park and not because there are anything to do or see in Hildale or Colorado City. It is a small town at the foot of a lovely rocky mountain. There is a large shop nearby that have almost everything you might need during your stay.
