The property is exceptionally clean and peaceful, making it the ideal getaway for my wife and me to celebrate our anniversary. It's just a few minutes from the beach and great dining options. The pictures shown online are an accurate representation of what you get, which was a pleasant surprise. Beautiful city, friendly people, great beach. Bike, walking, running trails all over island. Free trolleys for those that need them. Bike rental companies with delivery and pickup. Lots of really good locally owned restaurants and bars. Cool Cats Lounge was especially fun and welcoming. I really enjoyed walking a few miles on the beach every morning and watching the wildlife. Coligny beach shopping center had lots of good shopping, a Piggly Wiggly for groceries, and great ice cream shops. Hilton Head Island is an iconic vacation and golf destination for the East Coast. I have been coming there for nearly forty years. Unfortunately, in the last ten years, the infrastructure and population growth off the island has changed the character of the Hilton Head Island experience considerably, and not for the better. My wife and I just wanted to say Thank You to everyone at the Beach House you made our "Celebration Vacation" unforgettable. You are a wonderful team of people. Just wanted to say thank you to Margaret and Kim the wedding planners, they made our 50th Wedding Anniversary so very special. So if you are planning a Wedding or Anniversary go there and make your dreams come true. Also, try the great restaurants in and around the area. We have been coming to Hilton Head for years because of the family atmosphere. When you get into Hilton Head there is a historic charm and everything is so well kept. Differently need two weeks or longer to visit. There are a lot of great restaurants and beautiful beaches to walk. Very clean well maintained area , Great family atmosphere. Not a lot of loud parties , and excessive drinking but people having a good time. Miniature golf and dolphins cruises . Harbor town is a nice place to see. Lots of shops and great food.
