The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas, Ka'anapali is situated between North Ka’anapali Beach and the mountains of West Maui.

It was a hopeless faulty towers experience where staff were both incredibly unhelpful, unwilling to assist, didn’t know what they were doing etc. I really would not recommend this accomodation as value for money. You expect at this price range a luxury experience and it was anything but.

Facing the beachfront, The Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas North offers 4-star accommodation in Lahaina and features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and garden.

I liked the location of the resort. The Concierge and fronts desk staff were nice. The cat refuge was great. The store was a good place for the little things and coffee.

Situated on 11 acres of tropical gardens, this 4-star resort in Lahaina boasts 2 adult pools, and a day spa. Kaanapali Beach is just 15 minutes’ walk away.

Property is beautiful, large well manicured lawns and landscaping. There are two pools on the huge property, the main large pool is close to the beach, beautifully designed and landscaped, and beside the restaurant. There are plenty of loungers by the pool and on the lawn facing the beach, there never seemed to be a shortage of chairs or loungers. The property's beachfront was beautiful sand, sloped down to the water, and seemed to be a bit of a quieter section than further north of us, and certainly much quieter than the beach section near the whaler village area which always seemed packed with people. We could watch turtles swim past out section of beach all day long, about 20-30ft from shore. We stayed in a 2nd floor unit with a perfect view of the pool and beach, very clean, well laid out, and lots of room.

This hotel has a nice location and is surrounded by nice restaurants and stores in the village. It is a nice hotel with a small pool but no access to the beach. The room was good; nothing special or unique was there. The bathroom was dated. All rooms have a very small side ocean view and an extensive view of the back roof of the common facilities and Congress Center buildings. So, the view from the balconies is not pleasant. We did not have a food plan, but we purchased some food at the pool. We found it too expensive for the quality of the food served. We had a special discount being part of the conference, but even then, I found the room too expensive for the quality of the hotel, pool and beach,

A car is really needed as walking is difficult in areas with no sidewalks and busy, narrow roads. Not many restaurants. Some very nice parks and beaches. The food trucks have great food and across the street is a large grocery store with a good selection of takeaway food.

What I love about staying in a condo is the combination of home-like comfort with vacation convenience. There's something about having your own kitchen and living space that makes it feel less rushed, like you can truly unwind. Whether it's waking up to a beautiful view, lounging on a private balcony, or just the freedom to have a more flexible schedule, condos offer a nice mix of relaxation and practicality. It’s great having the option to cook your own meals and enjoy more privacy while still being close to attractions and activities.

Kahana was a convenient location for West Maui activities.

Kahana was a convenient location for West Maui activities. The Napili Market had exceptionally higher prices for their products than other markets. Simple bread crumbs for pork chops riveled nearly the same price as three pork chops. Products at the Ritz Carlton Market down the street were more reasonably priced.

The area is a bit away from the swimming beaches, shopping and dining, but it is very convenient location for driving to these areas, as well as other areas in Maui. There is a local bus service that runs until about 8:30 PM, so that is also handy. Very quiet area in the evenings so you can get a good nights sleep.

This is the windy side of the island (Maui is the windiest island anyway) and there are lots of condos and places to stay and eat in this area. Easy to get to and a short drive to Lahina and about an hour from the main airport.

Property is very family friendly. Nice to have the choice of enjoying the beach, lounge areas, and two pools. Grocery store across the road. Great pickle ball courts and easy drives to many other great beaches. Definitely recommend this part of the island for snorkeling
