Great pool and beach area for the kids. There is a tiki bar that's open from 2 to 7 pm for smoothies and alcohol. The rooms are spacious and the staff is very friendly.

This was a great stay with all equipment for paddle boarding and kayaks. My son loved fishing, I love exploring on water and my daughter loved the pool. The fire at night was such a treat. It felt tropical and like a true vacation there!

We stayed on the Diver Den 1 & 2 and the rooms connected with a total of 5 beds, a couple bathrooms it was perfect for our short stay. The 8 in our group loves it so much the waterfront we stayed at all day kayaking and paddle boarding and swimming. The sunset was breathtaking!!

We enjoyed going to Islamorada to the Theater of the Seas.
We enjoyed going to Islamorada to the Theater of the Seas. We also took a trip to the Marathon Beach one day and, while a little bit of a drive, it was worth it to see the gorgeous water as we crossed over bridges and then sat on the beach. There are plenty of restaurants within a reasonable drive as well as music and entertainment. We aren't big on water sports (paddle board, kayaking, scuba, snorkeling) but we enjoyed watching lots of boats go down the canal with many enthusiastic participants on board.
We took the Glass Bottom boat at sunset one night and saw the coral reef which was lovely. If Key West is on your to do list, it is a reasonable drive.

It is quieter area than Key West which I liked.
It is quieter area than Key West which I liked. Just wish there were other travel routes besides the over the seas highway. It is so busy to cross over. Also, better signage for side streets and signage for restaurants .

I normally go easy on properties but this one totally disappointed me. The property was dated. The room had no tables or luggage racks. The heated pool wasn't heated. The hot tub didn't work. We were told everything worked at their sister property next door which would require a drive over. I went to take a shower and couldn't get it to work. Had to have maintenance come and fix it, which they really didn't do. Continental breakfast was so so. I spoke with the manager about my issues and he worked with me to give us a discount. Would not recommend this facility.

We chose to eat our lunch and dinners out.
We chose to eat our lunch and dinners out. There were plenty of eating places to choose from. With a vehicle it was easy to get around especially since you were frequently driving in and from several different Keys. The weather was chilly during our stay so water activities were not a choice. For the most part people were friendly but if you desire diversity, this was not the area to see it.

Key Largo is fun, family friendly, felt safe, lots of shopping, lots of restaurants but overall quiet. Mostly an older crowd in Key Largo which concerned me a little because our 8 month old infant can get vocal when she's tired/hungry/teething/ needs a diaper change. However no one gave us dirty looks or made comments when we ate out

So this looked more glamorous in the advert! It is essentially a large travel lodge. The room was fine in size with a basic coffee machine. There is ample parking. It is on the main Highway 1 with a great fish restaurant 5 mins away The Fish House. There is a pool and very small beach next to a small beach bar with fun vibes. You can have a great swim from this beach by the Everglades. Loved it!
Good for a stop over.
I chose the location to see Key Largo.
Very friendly staff, loads of fun things to do at the hotel. They didn't rush you out after your checked out, you could continue using the pool and games if you wished. Beach towels available to borrow. Just a great hotel that really puts guest experiences above profits! Very relaxed and exactly what you want from the Keys.
The location for key largo was pretty good as close to shops and food places on foot. The room was spacious, there was a pool area and breakfast was good for continental. Nice coffee. Great spot on the water. Bed very comfy. We got a good out of season rate. Laundry facilities.
