Rooms were great-very clean, comfortable beds, great location. Breakfast was okay-standard continental breakfast, nothing amazing there. Location was beautiful. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back for another visit!

Travelodge by Wyndham Outer Banks/Kill Devil Hills offers direct access to the beach across the street. It features a seasonal outdoor pool and free passes to the local YMCA.

The smell on the floors of weed was ridiculous. The bathroom was small, and the faucet was falling apart and worked backward. The cleaning staff was sweet and kind!

It was my first trip to the area.

It was my first trip to the area. It's a small and older hotel that was clean, comfortable and charming. Loved the cozy lobby with fireplace...gave it a B&B feel. Room was clean with comfortable bed. TV was basic...could not stream, but for me that was not an issue. Proximity to the beach was great...just a short walk out over dunes. Also, close to some great restaurants like Rundown Cafe, Thai Room (walking distance). Will definitely return!

We loved our stay at the Outer Banks Motor Lodge.

We loved our stay at the Outer Banks Motor Lodge. It was especially nice having a room right on the beach. The location is great with lots of restaurants, shops, and close to the Avalon fishing pier, which we enjoyed. We also found a cool little place called "I Got Your Crabs Shellfish Marked and Oyster Bar" they shuck the others right at the bar and are the freshest most delicious oysters I've ever had! We also really liked our room being an efficiency. We were able to cook breakfast and have fresh coffee in the morning on our porch in the comfortable rockers. The room had everything we needed and was updated and very clean. Staff was great and very friendly. We even booked another trip here during our stay for a few months down the road. Definitely Highly recommended!

    Love the OBX!!

Love the OBX!! I was sick during the time I was visiting, so had to cut this trip short by one night. I love visiting in fall, less traffic, peaceful. We always ride down to Hatteras looking at lighthouses.

The location couldn't have been better. Kill Devil Hills is the best town to stay in while visiting the OBX, and the location of this condo couldn't be beat. Next to the Wright Memorial, the Teaching Gardens, the beach, and all of the great restaurants and shops (even ice cream shops), as well as close to Manteo and Wanchese. The pool with the lazy river and hot tub were added bonuses.

The hotel was on a very wide part of the beach, and had a nice pool, great breakfast, and fantastic staff. The location was good and price reasonable. We also liked having a suite so we did not have to watch TV in bed.
