    Lots of nice places to eat, and several different boat tours although we did not have time to do one; would love to return and do a concert at Black River marina area; if visiting, be sure to visit Lakeside Landing to walk and take pics of lighthouses.

    We chose to book this VRBO because we prefer the unique character of a home and neighborhood to most hotels. This property was perfect in that way! We did not actually hang out in Lorain, but enjoyed a brief visit to Lakeview Park, which is beautiful. It's easy navigating Lorain. Would love to explore down town and historic features next time. This property is also relatively close to Oberlin if that is where you really want to spend time during your visit.

    The marina and lighthouse were unexpected views that we enjoyed. We had dinner as the sunset over Lake Erie out on a deck at "Erie's Steak & Seafood" ~ good food and great outdoor view!
