The kite festival at jockeys ridge was great. Loved the farmers market on Saturday. Great selection of restaurants. And the view cant be beat. This is my happy place no matter which area I’ve stayed .ate dinner at “ ive got your crabs and it was delicious. Totally recommend the hush puppies with the brown sugar dip. The crab cakes and the potatoes. Ate breakfast at grits grill this restaurant is never a disappointment. Always amazed at how fast they get your food to the table

    Nags Head is family friendly.

Nags Head is family friendly. Lots of good resturants and shopping or you can observe the local wildlife. There are several iconic lighthouses nearby. Plus for a short day trip you can take a Wildhorse tour.

Nags Head is great, just overcrowded with unnecessary businesses selling cheap souvenir clothing and other goods. It is now difficult to find the places you used to like to go due to all the Wings and Super Wings stores. These do not belong on the Outer Banks.

    Nags Head exceeded our expectations.

Nags Head exceeded our expectations. I thought it was going to be too quiet. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores for all, but not overdone. Plenty of activities for the whole family. The folks who live there are very nice and friendly. We loved Jack Browns. Best burger ever! Super friendly service. The guys loved Flippers! Our nephew and niece-to-be were married on the beach. It was beautiful. Traffic was not bad. We can’t wait to go back for a longer stay.

I really enjoyed the visit to Nags Head.

I really enjoyed the visit to Nags Head. Getting around the area was easy and enjoyable. The area is not full of high-rise hotels. There are hotels to stay in but mostly there are great beach houses...Ther were lots of people there but it did have that elbow to elbow feel that you get in other beach towns. I am used to the white sand of Florida and was disappointed at first by the darker sand on the beach, but as I really took things in I found the area to be quite beautiful in a different kind of way. It seemed more natural. I would recommend the area to others as a great place to visit.

We had just a couple days to enjoy this beautiful place! I could stay on this beach forever. It was so clean, not one piece of litter was found. Traveling around the area was very convenient, whether it be on foot, bicycle or vehicle. Cute shops and delicious restaurants, there is so much to do here! Super relaxing! Can't wait to return.

The lady on reception gave us such a lovely welcome. She is a true asset to the hotel. Parking is very good, with plenty of room for large vehicles (we had a Chevy Suburban). The hotel is very easy to find. Breakfast was good.

I liked that it was oceanfront and I didn't have to walk a long distance to get to the beach. It is a smaller hotel not a huge resort. Beds were very comfortable and the room was clean.
