Natchez has so much history surrounding it and there is just so much to see! We did the carriage ride and enjoyed it. We toured Rosalie and drove through a few other places. Also enjoyed a tour of Greenleaves house. You must go to Under the Hill area and hang out as well. Best view of the sunset with the bridge there. Found some great food as well. Definitely need to try the brewery and their pizza! We didn't ride the tour bus but wanted to. Fortunately, we had our own tour guide since we have a friend who lives there. Definitely hope to get back some day to see more!

I love Natchez, and visit there several times a year.
I love Natchez, and visit there several times a year. It is so refreshing, all the folks there are so nice, and it is a wonderful place to reconnect with your wife. The slower pace of life, fine foods, and the beautiful river just puts you at ease. Natchez is awesome! The Donut shop is my favorite donut place ever.
Roux 61and Fat Mamas are another go to place to eat! And the best pizza on earth is found at Natchez Brewery, get the butcher, you wont be disappointed! And what ever you do, take a stroll around the river at the park. If time allows especially if you are on a motorcycle, jump on the Natchez trace and ride north for 30 miles. Visit the oldest hotel in MS, see the sunken trace, and get Lorman and try the Old Country Store's world famous fried chicken. Go see Windsor ruins, and take that road on to Port Gibson, some of the best curves and scenery in our state!

I would love to go down the Natchez Trace Parkway.
I would love to go down the Natchez Trace Parkway. We went down the parkway for 30 minutes and found the way beautiful and packed with great American history. Hoping to come back in the fall and drive the whole way to Nashville, TN.

There is so much history in this town.
There is so much history in this town. I loved the trails and historic buildings. I had a greater appreciation for the American Indians of this beautiful town. Views of the Mississippi River were breathtaking. So relaxing here and people are phenomenally friendly.

My husband and I went to the farmers market, then we toured the historic Natchez City Cemetery--this was unexpectedly a wonderful treat. We enjoyed a few local restaurants and did some light shopping. We ventured out to Vidalia, LA and the Village of Sicily Island where my husband visited his grandparents grave.

The town is small with a very varied population.
The town is small with a very varied population. Middle income to very poor are intermixed in neighborhoods but everyone we encountered were very nice. There is a great deal of history here from a working cotton plantation with a great deal of history( close but over the bridge in Louisiana) many historical homes and gardens that can be visited, and a walk along the Mississippi River that is very pretty, plenty of restaurants and if you aren’t busy enough there is a casino by the river. I hope to return to see those things we missed at a future date

Marybeth made our stay! She really looked after us and the other guests staying. Breakfast was just lovely. The room was lovely and the location fantastic. Natchez was a real highlight of our trip. Located just a street away from the Mississippi and some lovely bars and restaurants. Thank you for a great stay
Heather owner and hostess was extremely accommodating! It was also one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. Would stay there again without question. The location was central to all areas of Natchez. Breathtaking sunsets and great view of the river. Oh, the home cooked breakfast were beyond amazing!
The staff was fantastic, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a sample of southern cooking. We could sit on the front porch and watch Natchez life go by. Also, it was a short walk to the pathway along the Mississippi River to downtown Natchez and Fort Rosalie.
Free parking. Outside pool that looked great but we didnt have time to use it.
The room was large and clean with a nice bathroom.
Large selection for breakfast.
Easy 20 minute walk into Natchez.
