Had a great dinner at the Casino on the 1st night.
Had a great dinner at the Casino on the 1st night. Great Casino, lots of slots and table games, good location. Had many Mexican Food choices and diner food choices around town. DO NOT STAY AT THE QUALITY INN AT PARKER!!
DO NOT STAY AT THE QUALITY INN AT PARKER!! The first room that they gave us, the lock did not lock at all. We moved to a different room and the smell was awful, the noise outside was unbearable. In the morning when we went down for breakfast they only had waffles and peanut butter. The front desk told us that they ran our of money in the budget. We were overcharged after we moved to the room with a lock, they raised the rate each night. When I called to get the charge adjusted, the person that I spoke with at the motel hung up on me saying that there was nothing they would do because we knew what the charges would be and at least they offered waffles. Parker is a neat vacation town/retirement community.
Parker is a neat vacation town/retirement community. The restaurants are good. They have at least a couple of grocery stores and pharmacies. Make sure to drive to the Parker Dam on the CA side and...
Make sure to drive to the Parker Dam on the CA side and return on AZ side. Also a trip to Havasu City is worthwhile. Play golf at Emerald Canyon. Some strange, but spectacular holes. Pirates Den was good place to eat on the AZ side of the Colorado River. We had a table on the water and watched a great sunset.Guest review byfred faUnited States
