Stayed in the split level apartment. Roomy. Full kitchen. Great for when you are traveling with a group. 2 queens upstairs and a king downstairs. Staff were great! Room was clean. Beds comfortable. Would definitely reserve this room again.

If you stay in one of the Creekside cabins, it is a lovely place to be. The staff is great. Front desk and dining room staff were terrific.
But, the rooms with fireplaces in the regular Lodge have a view only of the parking lot. Seems like the designer could have done better. Maybe gone up one level? Or added a fireplace to the other side of the hall, where you had a view of some mountains?
This property offers access to a patio, darts, free private parking, and free Wifi. The chalet offers a children's playground and a 24-hour front desk.

The very Beautiful scenery with snow, and Love how the cabins look in the middle of the woods with the tall pine trees full of snow all around was a Perfect location and Amazing to see. The staff was Welcoming, Cordial Friendly and Very Helpful. I like how there is a steep hill for bobsledding behind the cabins. I especially loved how the cabin was small and how they had also small beds. My kids had fun, We Loved our stay, Thank You :)

We were up there for a weekend event, and were not really seeing Payson. I have been in Payson before and feel that it is a nice place to stay up in the cooler parts of the state, especially in the summer.

Payson has been a stopping off point for our family from southeastern Arizona on the way back and forth to the White Mountains and Northern Arizona. There are a number of places to stay for the night or even a bit longer, several very good restaurants, and some enjoyable outdoor oriented activities in the area.

The staff at the Comfort Inn was fantastic.
The staff at the Comfort Inn was fantastic. We wanted to watch a specific basketball game, so we called ahead to see of the Comfort Inn had that particular network. The staff member checked and yes they did have that network. We also asked for recommendations on a pizza restaurant. She again helped us out. She also called me by my first name when I checked in. Excellent service.

It's a nice small town with all the needed restaurants and stores you would need. There are plenty of outdoor activities to do in the area for those wanting to hike, fish, hunt or just to enjoy nature.

The weather is fantastic, mild temperatures in mid October.
The weather is fantastic, mild temperatures in mid October. The area offers a lot of nature and outdoor sports. I attended a family reunion and we gathered at Rumsey Park for the day, everyone who attended had a good time. I would have liked more time to show my family the nearby lakes and rivers and visit the Tonto Natural Bridge.

This place ruined my vacation. The first room we got was smoked in. We requested to move so we wouldn't be charged for someone else smoking in this room. That went well until I seen the charged me 2 rooms 4 times and held up $1200.and then blamed me for thier mistake and would not help me fix the issue. So at that time I am broke because the hotel messed up. I will never do business with this hotel ever agian and warning to anyone else.
The staff went out of their way to help us out. We wanted to watch a specific basketball game, so we called ahead to see if they had that particular network that the game would be on. The staff member checked and made sure that was the case. We asked for a recommendation on a pizza location. She again came through. She greeted me by name when I checked in. Excellent service in Payson.
Not a hotel but a single annexe above the owners property. The balcony enabled us to watch birds in the evening, being the main purpose of our trip. Plenty of space, owner very friendly and helpful, car parked off road in a very nice neighbourhood, use of garden (small friendly dog). Everything was as new, very relaxing, unfortunately we had only booked one night.
A very comfortable, spacious room, a nice comfortable rocking chair to enjoy a beer in on the porch looking at a nice garden area. Excellent steakhouse 100yds up the road and nice location for an overnight in Payson.
