I immediately felt welcome at this immaculately maintained, historical home. Sara and her staff swept, vacuumed and wet mopped floors in the common areas of the house every day. They also shook out and vacuumed rugs and wiped down and/or polished railings, stairs and furniture. If you need anything all you need to do is ask the host Sara and she will take care of it promptly. Guest comfort and peace of mind are definitely top priorities at this location.

The best part was the staff , nice friendly people. After that it just got disappointed. Paying $200+ for a room and your view is of the alley way , the room was very small but very clean. The breakfast was terrible, potato, bacon and eggs over cooked , No Love was added to your food , truly less then basic , and it cost $33... beautiful hotel, needs a little more style for the price you are paying, but to have an alleyway and watching people walking was the great view, but the bed help make up for some of my dislike, THE BED WAS PERFECT 👌 👍. I WILL TRY YOUR HOTEL AGAIN.... BUT I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE VEIW OF THE ALLEYWAY!,

The lobby and restaurant renovations are great. I've stayed at the hotel before, prior to that work being done, and it's a HUGE improvement on the first impression when you walk in. It's a little bit weird how subservient to the restaurant the hotel is in terms of layout (the check in desk looks like it was almost an afterthought), but the improvement over the old lobby is so big that it's a positive no matter what.
