It seemed the whole town was friendly.
It seemed the whole town was friendly. And since I must have looked ragged after working on the nearby lighthouse, I was still treated very nice. From the moment you walk in the place smells of mildew.
From the moment you walk in the place smells of mildew. Elevator is over-sprayed in an attempt to cover or mask the smell rather than cleaning. Room (315) was just as bad if not worse. Room was cleaned once the entire week I was there. Received poor service from Texas Road House as well. Did not receive eating utensils with my food, went to front desk and asked if I could get a plastic fork and possibly a plastic knife so I could eat my food. I figured since the hotel serves breakfast they would be able to help out a guest. I was told by the young lady whom was eating there in the lobby with a man that they do not provide utensils because everyone was stealing them. I explained I would pay $6 for a simple plastic fork and knife, it was all the cash I had on me at the moment.
