What a treat! We’ve stayed at a lot of places over the years, but rarely do we come across this level of attention to detail. From the moment we arrived at López Island Farm Cottages, everything felt warm, thoughtful, and just right. The cottage was charming and cozy, stocked with rich, locally sourced coffee that started our mornings off perfectly. Breakfast was a true delight—silky, creamy yogurt paired with incredible granola from the village bakery.
Every touch, from the cozy bed and hot shower to the lovely artwork and curated décor, felt intentional and special. The sweet farm cats, Kombucha and Nori, were gentle companions during our stay—attentive but never intrusive. Even check-in was seamless, with lights guiding us along a lovely path to our warmly lit cottage.
The property itself is peaceful and welcoming. The chickens were curious and friendly, and a beautifully printed, well-organized map of the farm and island made exploring easy and fun. Meeting Mari and Jordy was a highlight—they were so kind and gracious. We already loved López Island, but this stay made us fall for it even more. We can’t wait to come back!

Well appointed room, loved the location, delicious coffee in the room for our enjoyment, very good value all around.
Sheets were super soft and the bed very comfortable. Loved all of the windows which showered the room in natural sunlight.
The grounds were meticulously maintained with plenty of inviting seating areas beckoning.

This house was great for our vacation. The location was perfect- secluded yet close to the village. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make our meals. The 2/3 beds were very comfortable. The 3rd was a little hard for our taste.

The view was spectacular and was the best selling asset of the property. The place was clean but didn't cover up that it was also run down and the furniture shabby. There was a good stock of towels.
Outdoor seating is also available at 57 Mud Bay. The vacation home features 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, a washing machine, and 1 bathroom with free toiletries.

The location was great. Wonderful waterfront, lots of room and a very well-stocked kitchen!
Featuring a patio and sea views, the spacious vacation home includes 3 bedrooms, a living room, TV, an equipped kitchen, and 3 bathrooms with a walk-in shower and a bath.
The cleanliness of the home was disgusting. Has not been cleaned for a long time.... including the bathroom. The toliet in the master bedroom needs a new internal mechanism as it would not shut off. There was outdoor furniture but it was so disgusting and dirty it was not usable. The furniture inside was old, very worn and dirty. God, I prayed out sheets were clean!
But....the location of the house was perfect! Close to the ocean and very quiet. The size of the home was perfect. Would have been a perfect place but was so incredibly dirty!
