It was a v large room with an equipped kitchen. It was so nice to have a kettle and tea bags, mugs, glasses- a large fridge, plus really everything you need in a kitchen for two people. Love the big jacuzzi bath to soak in. The owner/ manager was nice and helpful.

The clerk denied me the room because I did not pay it in advance. I don't know about you but I don't stay in hotels where I have to pay in advance. What kind of cheesy ass crap is this.

The breakfast was excellent, and the location was easily accessible to the freeway, and the area was quieter than rooms on Market Street. The room amenities were very good -- large fridge, two-burner induction stovetop, plenty of blankets and pillows for the sofabed, table with two seats, etc. , though there was no chair for the "desk" type surface.

A charming town, easily walkable central area with lots of nice restaurants, and some overlooking the river. Antique stores have reasonable prices. Hi-School pharmacy is way more brilliant than you would ever guess and not to be missed.
Of course, go to the Oregon Gardens.

Came to this area for Oktoberfest, Silver Falls and some rest and relaxation. All were wonderful. Didn't have any problems and enjoyed our stay. Mt. Angel and Silverton were also nice little towns with some good food and lovely walks around town. Enjoyed the Mt. Angel Benedictine Abbey immensely. The Abbey was an incredible setting open to visitors. Attended a noon prayer time of Psalm readings, walked the stations of the cross and roamed an incredible library collection. Those on site (monks, seminary students, employees) were amazing and welcoming.

We walked the Oregon Garden. It was nice.
We walked the Oregon Garden. It was nice. The town has a lot of resale type shops and cafes and restaurants. Breakfast was disappointing at Little Leaf Cafe. Our food appeared to be microwaved and was tasteless. This is not a place for eating. The coffee was good. Our favorite spot was The Bombay Club for cocktails, appetizer, and dinner. It's a very intimate environment, reminiscent of the old style cocktail lounge. The owners were present and accommodating. The food is good. Don't be put off by the exterior. Walking in is a nice surprise. Overall Silverton was a great experience and will not hesitate to go back.

Cute small town with antique shops, boutiques, and numerous restaurant choices. Excellent lodging at Oregon Garden Resort. Not far from the town is Silver Creek Falls, which has numerous falls and hiking options.

We'd like to stay longer but we have cats at home and I take care of 6-10 others every night w/food and huts, some w/electric blankets, so we had to get home....Here's what I like about Silverton....the food choices seem small, but they are very friendly, excellent quality of food, etc. We like Oregon Garden Resort, Ixtapa, Little Leaf, Wooden Nickel, and a few others downtown....One of the Roth's flagship stores so we like going there while visiting town; they have some great Christmas light neighborhoods and a hospital/police dept/etc if you so need? One of the ways to Silver Creek State Park(waterfalls, etc). The park by the creek in town is nice, too, during the summers anyway. Library, murals, etc,

Silverton is a delightful small town.
Silverton is a delightful small town. The town center itself is charming, made even more so with historical murals and lots of hanging baskets of flowers everywhere. There are plenty of eateries and boutique shops. Some of the restaurants have back decks along the creek, which are very pleasant on a summer afternoon. It makes a great base for exploring Silver Falls State Park (with many beautiful waterfalls - some of which you can walk behind) and also The Oregon Garden. It was also a beautiful drive getting to and around Silverton, through beautiful farm land. Highly recommend.

pet friendly with clean and comfortable beds. full kitchen had all we needed.had a problem with shower and they were very responsive. I made a mistake with booking and able to stay an extra day but in a different room and they let us move in as soon as room was cleaned. restaurants within walking distance. beds were very comfortable and clean. liked the rocking chairs outside. able to go to Silver Falls and Oregon Garden.
Breakfast was great and we love the location.
The rooms are old and outdated and not that clean. More of a “motel” experience than a resort.
It is more than we usually pay for a hotel so we were expecting something even better than the Marriott. Not even close.
Located in the center of Silverton, close to everything. The service is excellent. It was a very comfortable room on the second floor. The bar attached to the hotel is very good. We did not try the restaurant.
The Magnolia restaurant (part of the Silverton Inn was magnificent. We ate dinner 4 of the 7 nights we were there. Absolutely 5 STAR restaurant. Desserts are made by local residence and are just fantastic.
