Spring Lake – 8 hotels and places to stay

Located opposite Spring Lake, this boutique hotel offers free Wi-Fi and features an on-site restaurant. The Atlantic Ocean is 6 minutes’ walk.

The location is nice and convenient, parking good, the room was clean. However, it felt like it had seen better days. We had a light bulb missing in the bathroom (not broken, missing), the gold doorknob had white paint all over it, the room smelled very artificially scented, to the point where we opened the window. The rooms next to us were partying for hours which was not the vibe we were going for.

Located in Spring Lake, a 13-minute walk from Spring Lake Beach, Walden on the Pond provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a shared lounge.

The staff was polite and friendly. The private yard overlooking the pond was relaxing. The continental breakfast had a variety of options. The suite was cleaned everyday. Everything was comfortable. Sipping coffee on the front porch with breakfast was very enjoyable.

There was so much that we loved! The high level of professionalism of every staff member we spoke with, delivered with immense warmth and genuine care, was a joy. Deborah, George, Melanie, Lauren, Susana, Skylar, and housekeeping staff were attentive, respectful, friendly and delightful. Our suite was large, bright, and a pleasure to relax in. Thank you all!

It's a lovely shore retreat town.

It's a lovely shore retreat town. Many restaurants and the village has characteristic tourist options in addition to local merchants with higher-end goods. The location is close to several other shore towns that can be reached by walking, bicycle, or car, depending on your fitness level. Spring Lake Proper is expertly manicured and maintained. It's a pleasure to just sit by the lake in the square under the village clock. Visit the Whishpers for a white tablecloth dinner and Arugula for lunch or dinner. Delicious, and the staff were great!

    Quintessential shore town.

Quintessential shore town. Clean beaches, beautiful homes, etc. I’ve been there several times. One thing to note is that you can’t bring coolers, food and stuff like that onto the beach. Better IMO since it keeps the beaches clean but also keeps a lot of extra visitors away. You’d find mostly locals here so it seems less crowded. More enjoyable. The Grand Victorian is a great place to stay and there is an onsite restaurant that is also lovely. 3rd Avenue has some small shops and places to eat. Overall a nice upscale beach town.

Spring Lake was a great place to run or walk.

Spring Lake was a great place to run or walk. The Lake and Ocean were beautiful - a very peaceful experience. . We stayed at Hewlett Wellington Hotel - it was perfect - cozy and welcoming. We has a lovely diner at Whispers - just remember to bring your own wine.

    Go anywhere but Spring lake..

Go anywhere but Spring lake..The people who live there do not want any outsiders there. It is clean and beautiful and they have made every rule in the book to keep it that way.No parking on the street between 3 and 6 am,no food of any kind on the beach, etc etc etc..Pay to use the beach.. Spring lake is not for me.Im a democrat not a citizen of North Korea.
