Very grand colonial style. Very pleasant grounds - trees, lush grass, bushes..Roomy room. The bar had a good enough menu for our purposes. Not overcrowded on week nights. Staff very helpful.

The breakfast was not acceptable.Processed. Frozen food. Bagels and bread not fresh. Bacon needed to be cooked a bit more. Eggs were ok. I did go next door to the other hotel for a great fresh breakfast 3 days. It was fresh hot and edible!! I paid $2400.00 not including taxes to stay at Residence Inn. Never again!! I was totally ripped off. The cleaning staff were great. Our room was clean. Neat with fresh towels and bed was always made correctly.

A chance to get away from it all, but without having to isolate yourself. Stay in a local community that doesn’t feel influenced by tourism. Lots of lovely places to see and eat; people all very friendly.
