Situated 29 km from Wailea Emerald Course, 38 km from Lahaina Boat Harbor and 42 km from Whalers Village Shopping Center, Unit 11 Maui Ohana Modern Studio offers accommodation located in Wailuku.

The property was very clean, had a reserved parking spot which was nice. If you are not planning on having a car the location is not ideal as there was nothing to do in a walking distance. However, if you have a car it is pretty central. There were two good food places very close by. Just to know there is no private beach like mentioned on booking. Overall we had a great stay.

Set 6.4 km from Iao Valley State Park, 29 km from Wailea Emerald Course and 38 km from Lahaina Boat Harbor, Unit 17 Maui Ohana Modern Studio offers accommodation located in Wailuku.

The room was recently remodeled. The kitchenette includes everything necessary except for a real range. You can see a big green mountain from the window. It's centrally located (e.g. the road to Hana is as easy to get to as southern beaches) and so is perfect for first-time visitors who are not biased towards a specific destination.

Banana Bungalow Maui Hostel in Wailuku provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace.

I think a little overpriced but it was nice enough for a hostel. No air con though which killed me. Everything is a little grubby. Loved the cats though and enjoyed the rustic vibes

That it came with three beds. There were great smelling body wash, shampoo and conditioners. There was coffee available in the room and water bottles in the vending machine for a great price.

The whole process was easy: checking in, checking out, I forgot something after check out and before I realized it they already came back to me. Laundry was possible in a common Landry in house from 5pm-4am for 10$ (washing incl detergent plus drying).

Our Lauloa Condo is on Hauoli Street and it's actually in Ma'alaea, a suburb of Wailuku, and about 7 miles from downtown. Downtown Wailuku is pretty-much "local territory" as it does not have the sunny side and beaches of either Kihei or Lahaina OR Ma'alaea. See our review of Lauloa 303 Condo for more on why we choose Ma'alaea whenever we can OR nearby Kihei - both are more affordable than Wailea or Makena (where the 5**** resorts are) and closer to the rest of Maui than Kana'apali up from Lahaina. In Wailuku proper, do not miss the Kaahumanu Church, Baldwin Museum on Hawaii's colorful colonial history OR a visit to Io Needle Monument park - an historic sacred native Hawaiian site with gorgeous scenery, waterfalls, lush tropical greenery plus several nature trails to enjoy.

The food was great everywhere that we went . We went to the top of the volcano for sunrise and it was amazing-- and cold. We went on a helicopter tour and to another island on Trilogy for day of snorkeling and fun. It was great!

We enjoyed the small uncrowded beach. Ocean Breeze… definitely a nice place to be if you’re looking for peace and quiet. It is nothing like an overcrowded, all inclusive resort. I would highly recommend Wailuku!

The location of this apartment is good as it is in the residential neighborhood. Meaning it's not within walking distance to beaches. You do need a car to get around. It's within close proximity to shopping and restaurants. The apartment is very clean ... a good place to rest after a day of fun outdoors.

Maui has the best beaches and the ones off Wailuku are not too busy and lovely. It’s a full service town where the planes fly in so there are many shopping options including Costco. Vacation rentals are relatively expensive here.

If you don’t have a rental car you can plan on lots of walking. The bus system is great, but you need to make sure you have the time to do that. There isn’t a whole lot to see where we stayed. It is in an older part of Wailuku. Definitely not a tourist town, as such.

I was pleasantly surprised that the toilets were so clean for a hostel, infact better than some hotels! The bed and sheets were clean and comfy. This place has such nice vibes and was a great place to stay. Everyone was friendly and we felt very safe staying here. My only grouse was the stairs as we had huge cargo bags but the owner was very nice to help us carry up and down the stairs! I also loved the location where food and amenities are easily accessible. The pancakes in the morning were yummy, overall we had a great stay!

To start with the host. Katie was kind and thoughtful.easy to communicate even made restaurant reservation. The property is luxurious right on the water everything you can expect from a 5 star place. The decoration and the welcome treat is special with all the exotic flowers. The unit is modern with all the comfort to the last details like bathrobe etc,.. We stayed before in most of the Wailea luxury hotels but will come back to this place first in the future. Made our stay with our friends unforgettable.

My wife and I stayed stayed at the The Old Wailuku in September 2022 during our first time in Maui and we had a great time. Our room was cozy, the house is well located, the breakfast was really good, and the staff was helpful and nice. We met the owners and they are such a nice couple, they gave us tips of restaurants, roads, and beaches. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location, in one of the most beautiful parts of Maui. So much nicer than staying in a resort hotel. So peaceful - just the sound of the river and birds - with fabulous views, a comfortable room and delicious breakfasts left on our own patio/fridge for the next day. One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed.
