As they were quiet that day they upgraded me to a cute, pretty cabin. The lady,  Linh, really made it for me. She invited me to eat with the family on the first evening & using Google translate, I learnt a bit about her, her life & her family. The room was very comfortable & both she & her husband were very attentive. The food was lovely.I hiked a lot from there ' they're high up so you struugle with steep hills choose a place in the valley.

Wow! What a fantastic place to stay. Going to Pu Luong requires a bit more effort and a longer journey (on some bumpy roads) than other places, but it is totally worth it! The Eco Garden is a great place to be at one with nature. Take the opportunity to visit rice paddies, a bat cave and local village communities with a guide too. Would highly recommend going before it becomes the next Sapa!

The chalet was very basic but it was a good experience. The food was good, there were other guests to spend time with , the showers were hot, there were hamacs to relax in. Above all the area is spectacular. I loved wandering through the villages.
