No, they don't give you a discount for writing a good review. This hotel is all around great value for the price you pay. Breakfasts pineapple pancakes were delicious and all of the staff were very hospitable. We even got a late checkout for free. Only thing to improve is inserting smart TVs to the rooms so that you could watch Netflix etc.

I had an upper level corner room with unbelievable views, even in the fog. The bed was super comfy as well. Only the breakfast was a little underwhelming, but they will be opening a new rooftop restaurant next year. Owner was warm and welcoming.

Clean, large rooms. Basic but, good breakfast in the morning. The staff and the hotel owner were very kind and helpful. They gave us extra waters and towels. They even let us store our luggage for free overnight while trekking and offered us a shower when we returned to pick up our luggage. Convenient location in Sapa town. Would recommend.

Great place to visit in Vietnam for someone who likes hiking...
Great place to visit in Vietnam for someone who likes hiking and exploring. Beautiful views of a valley with some villages and amazing rice paddies, aa well as trails to walk amongst. The tallest mountain in Vietnam is also enticing and worth visiting. The Sapa town itself consists mostly of the hotels and restaurants, which is expected from a tourist town, but one can find some great stays and excellent eats. Nevertheless, some garbage/trash clean up would do wonders for the city! Lastly, what is overrated, is the Cat Cat village, which is really just a large market selling mostly the same items stall to stall. Past that, there is a Disney-like village in the bottom of the valley, which seems a bit too artificial, albeit pretending to be a real deal. In summary, great experience over all, exceeding expectations in many aspects, except for the Cat Cat village.

I stayed in 2 different hotels in Sapa, the first was KK Sapa with spectacular views over the mountains, it is a very nice 5* hotel which I recommend to stay in just for the views, it is a little on a side but it is only 600m walk tot he centre so not far. The second hotel was right in the centre which was convenient for everything but it was noisy at the evenings as people were signing in bars around. For tourists attractions it is a must to go on a cable car ride to the top of the mountain and see the Buddhist temple, it takes at least half a day to see it so allocate plenty of time. I haven't done the village tracking with a guide because it takes some 8kms to walk through the fields to do this, and I haven't stayed at a homestay either as some tourists do, but I have seen traditional homes constructed in the town centre and at the cable car village which is included in the ticket, so I don't think I would see much more by going tracking. They also show traditional tools and equipment and have there costumes for hire. You need a good weather what I was lucky to have, as it rains here a lot and you would not be able to go tracking in a rain. It is good to see waterfalls, the church, and the market in the centre is also interesting. You probably need 4 days to do your activities here. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Sapa was very nice.
Sapa was very nice. Unfortunately, we did not get to do much because the fog was so thick that, at times, we could not see more than a few hundred feet in almost every direction. We even planned to go when this would not happen, but you can't control the weather. Many of the restaurants are tourist traps. We love Tim's; it had the best food we had there. I wish I could say more, but we just walked around the town for two days and popped into local places to pass the time.

Beautiful town.
Beautiful town. On a clear day the mountains are clearly visible from the town. The cable car to Fansipan provides a breathtaking view of the mountains. With clouds, the town can be picturous with floating fog. May be that is why they call it "The City in the Fog".

On arriving I was greeted by the owner who had the most wonderful smile, and was wonderfully welcoming. I arrived a little early and was invited to have a tea whilst waiting.
When I got to the room it was an incredibly big room, and had a fantastic cost feel. The room was well designed and having a plug in the middle of the wall of the bed made all the difference on convenience. The bathroom was a walk in shower with fantastic power and warmth, and a great sized sink.
Definitely the best hotel I've stayed at in Vietnam!
The lady and gentleman that work at the front desk are exceptional. So incredibly kind and considerate but not overbearing. The room is located well, very clean, a good size and well apointed for a lovely stay. The air conditioner worked well but I loved that I also had a window i could open. Breakfast was also great. The massages they offer on the ground floor are also verry good.
I was in vietnam for almost 2 months and this was my favourite hotel.
Very clean room, the hotel staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast includes various dishes (Vietnamese and occidental), the pho was really good ! The day we left the hotel, we did a trekking and were all muddy, the hotel offered us to take a shower and clean ourselves before leaving Sa Pa (even though we did the checkout)
This property was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We did a day trek that the homestay organised and it was one of my favourite experiences in Vietnam. I will be staying here again next time I am in Sa Pa.
