The bathroom was really tiny is all I can say. We didn’t spend much time in the room but it was great to get back at night to find it cleaned and the bed made. Didn’t expect that. Breakfast was just okay

Thandile at the front desk was a life saver! Our other accommodation was a dud and we called Sea Castle for help. Thandile was amazing!!! He arranged our room, advised to book via Booking.com for a discount, was ready and waiting when we arrived in the evening and made us feel so much better after a bad experience at our previous guesthouse. Later Milton looked after us and we thoroughly enjoyed his company while relaxing at the bar. Sea Castle is amazing because of the wonderful staff looking after their guests. Could not be more grateful for their help, kindness and professionalism in our moment of need (and panic).

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately found the overall experience disappointing, especially considering the price. The rooms are quite outdated and not well maintained — for example, my door didn’t even close properly, which felt both inconvenient and unsafe. The general condition of the hotel doesn’t reflect the rate being charged; it really needs some renovation and better upkeep.
I want to highlight that the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The staff is very welcoming, friendly and very diligent in their work. The place is a dream really, the views of the mountains are majestic. Rooms very comfortable and very clean every day. The food was delicious. It's so quiet and peaceful you would think you the only guest. There is an additional games room to use which is very elegantly decorated. Kudos to all staff and the owner.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. When I asked for slices of lemon to make lemon tea in my room they brought them up to my room for me and the next night they remembered I’d asked and brought me a whole lemon which was very sweet. When I asked for water they gave me lovely glass bottles of water and didn’t charge for this.
We really enjoyed the unit. The hosts were amazing and included us in everything. They really went out of their way to accommodate our every need. The location is amazing, especially if you are looking to explore the whole of Cape Town. All and all a great stay.
The breakfast is five star. The owner Abigel is amazing and very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area and surrounds. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning when were back in Cape Town again.
