Beautiful property located in a quiet area. Very quiet surroundings assure a good nights sleep. The meal options are great for breakfast and dinner, and the food is very good. I would definitely return.

    I understand that Ladysmith is an old town ,but ,I was very disturbed when I saw shacks right in town ,there are other areas in CBD, that were dirty ,in Small towns like Ladysmith ,we are expecting orderly and clean places especially in CBD. Municipality must enforce the by laws. We like to visit small towns .

    So many restaurants that have nice food,the amazing natural views around Ladysmith,malls are around you dnt have to travel long distance if you need something,there's a museum that has lot of information about Ladysmith.

    The town is very easily layed out and full of history.

    The town is very easily layed out and full of history. Guided and unguided tours are available to visit the war that took place in the area. The richness in history and facts are felt throughout town. Not many restaurants available. Ensure that you do visit the area and plan enough time to visit at least two war sites.

    We enjoyed our stay there, the rooms were clean and photos we saw on the website did not deceive us at all. Easy location to find. We would definitely stay there again should we find ourselves in Ladysmith in the near future. The extra blankets went a long way in those chilly winter nights and we did not have to ask for them, but already found them in our rooms. They can consider changing the iron in the ironing room since the 1 we found was barely warm.

    Lovely olde worlde style cottages/rooms. Bed was very comfortable (with heated blanket) shower was hot and powerful. Dining room lovely with log fire and views over Ladysmith. Pub and snug (siege of Ladysmith themed) were cute and we loved the Honesty Bar! Verandah was in full sun from morning to late afternoon - perfect
