Breakfast good and the location is excellent

Very clean facilities and peaceful surroundings.

This place was ideal for me, and my dogs. Private garden fenced to keep them safe. The room was huge and spotless. Lovely small welcome gift, towel decorations and truly a wonderful quiet and safe B&B. Will definitely be back. Dawn was so accommodating, as I was supposed to arrive at 5pm, but traffic delays meant I only arrive in the dark at 8pm, and Dawn was so happy and pleasant about it. Thank you Dawn, you are an amazing person.

Candice, our hostess, was amazing and so welcoming. We stayed there twice, one night each on either side of our main destination. Both times, we asked for breakfast without prior planning, and Candice was more than happy to oblige. She cooked a delicious and beautifully presented breakfast.

We Planned to leave the farm at Maclear at 07h30, but could only leave at 14h00 due to the heavy rains that caused floods in the vlei. Our host Phyll and her daughter Lizzie was just amazing. They drove numerous times to check the water levels. They had the low bridge repaired( not on their property), escorted us and then brought us back ; again escorted us through the water until we could safely drive through( our rental car is a Suzuki Swift). We were fed and hydrated and given regular updates. If you're ever in the area, please support Phyll. Her husband died at the age of 33 after a 3 year battle with cancer, leaving Phyll with 2 little daughters and a farm to run. She is still managing the cattle farm on her own, with the help of some farm workers. What an incredible amazing woman.
